"Beijing Jinshui bridge" terrorist attack and "KunMing3?01" violent terrorist attack marked the terrorist forces begun to extend into the mainland area of China, the vehicles with hazardous materials extremely easy to become attack targets of terrorists. The paper aims to study the reparation of the Hazardous Materials Transportation Network (HMTN) after the terrorist attacks.Firstly, through the analysis of previous papers, the HGTN model is constructed, which includes the topology and the service network. The topology is a subset of urban road network, deleting roads that are not permitted to transport the hazardous materials from the urban road network. The service network is an abstraction, which represents the Original-Destination (OD) flow and the transport path of the hazardous materials.Secondly, through the analysis of the characteristics of terrorist attacks, it concludes that the attack is more likely to be an intentional attack on edges, based on betweennesses of edges. Thus, the reparation of HMTN can be described as:repair the topology to improve the performance of service network. Then, a flow chart of how to repair the HMTN is established. The "efficiency of network" and the "maximal connected degree" of service network are proposed to measure the performance of service network while the reparation of the topology. The simulation of the repair proceed is accessed in MATLAB, which determines the whole process from the attack to the repair. And, based on the cascading failure characteristics of complex networks, a cascading failure model is established. Finally, a Markov model is constructed to guarantee the vehicle with the repair resources get to the failed road as soon as possible, which is a time-shortest-pathing problem indeed.
