In recent years, prestressed concrete continuous beam bridge has been wildly used in bridge design for its excellent performance in structure. And in the design of bridges with a span length of40-200m, prestressed concrete continuous beam bridge is especially a top priority. The development of long span prestressed concrete continuous beam bridge depends on the development of construction techniques and the construction techniques develop gradually from support method to cantilever method. With the wide application of cantilever method in modern times, long span prestressed concrete continuous beam bridge has more notable advantages. As the span length increases, the requirements and the difficulties for construction control increase as well, therefore, it’s necessary to deepen the study of key techniques for the construction of long span prestressed concrete continuous beam bridges. In this paper, the Huayang Bridge is taken as a research background to study several aspects of long span prestressed concrete continuous beam bridges including the construction techniques, the construction organization, etc.1、The construction technique of the superstructure is a key technique for the construction of Huayang Bridge. In this paper, the cantilever method, the construction technique for the0#closure segment, the design and calculation of the bracket and the hanging basket are analyzed and studied in detail. The analysis results could be used as reference for the construction of other similar bridges.2、The construction organization is described and studied, so as to achieve maximum technical economy for the bridge.
