Steam turbine unit is a kind of high speed rotating machinery that could be employed in a number of ways, and it is the key equipment of many large-scale process industries. The rotor of turbine unit is the core part, so that the stability of rotor is a critical factor that affects the security performance easily. Therefore, making research on the vibration performance of rotor set when faults come into being, and providing basic data for fault diagnosis are particularly significant to the improvement of rotor set’s efficiency, prolongation of the rotor set’s useful life, and the guarantee of the rotor set to operating safely and responsibly. By analyzing the theory and diagnostic techniques of turbine rotor vibration faults, and considering the practical operating situation, this thesis made a theoretic thorough analysis on the existence of vibration on103JT steam turbine rotor with the application of computer modeling and simulation. Moreover, made an experiment significantly, which drew a conclusion that because of the asynchronous vibration that the rotor generates, the steam turbine unit cannot exert itself fully to100%. Then, by making application of modeling on rotor and theoretical computation, we determined technological transform direction, and solved the problem of turbo set vibration preferably.1) Made a respectively research on the impact of the turbo set vibration resulted from various factors, like dynamic equilibrium of turbo set rotor, bearing, hermetic sealing, alignment, and friction, etc.2) According to the phenomenon of vibrate, analyzed the cause of vibration, and established flexible model of103JT rotor based on simulation technology called ADAMS.3) Taking account of the real working condition of turbo set, after making data collection and spectral analysis, made an accurate judgment of fault cause, and provided scientific basis of equipment transformation. 4) Under the guidance of computer stimulating result and experiment data of equipment operation, analyzed and estimated the running state of turbo set by using fault diagnosis technology, determined the transform plan of103TJ turbo set and had the intended result successfully.This thesis made a research on centrifugal compressor103JT turbo set, which provides a feasible basis on product design, and offers a practical way of the working and scientific overhauling on turbo set.
