In recent years, our country’s economy advances rapidly. At the same time,people’s living standard is improved significantly. In the last decades, our countryadopted the extensive mode of economic growth, and paid less attention to theenvironmental protection. That damaged the environment seriously. Especially thehaze weather becomes more and more severe, which brings enormous threat topeople’s health. Therefore, people pay more attention to the pollution, and therequirement of environmental protection is increasing day by day. The people’sgovernment at all levels from central to local are also aware of the importance ofenvironmental protection and have increased the investment of urban sanitation.Compared with the traditional cleaning way of “one man, one broom”, themechanized and automated road-sweeping products have got the general approval ofcitizens and the city’s sanitation department. Currently, through several decades ofdevelopment, road-sweeping products have a great variety and functions. They canmeet the needs of different users effectively and have been widely used throughoutthe country. Among them, due to its cleaning operations without water, the dryroad-sweeping lorry has been widely used in water-deficient areas and the cold winternorthern areas.In this thesis, the6t dry road-sweeping lorry which is developed bycollege-enterprise cooperation is the main study object. In the first place, the thesisintroduces the source and background of the research topic and it summarizes andintroduces the classification, the present development situation at home and abroadand the future development trend of the road-sweeping lorry. In the second place, thethesis gives the detailed introduction of the dry road-sweeping lorry’s design,including the basic structure, working principle, main parameters and the associateddesign calculations of each subsystem, such as the chassis systems, the vice systems,the vice frame, the trunk, the hydraulic system, the pneumatic conveying system and the cleaning operation device. In addition, it studies the working medium pneumaticconveying system, including the medium composition, the physical property, theflowing law and the starter mechanism. Finally, the thesis explains the design indexand parameters of suction nozzle and introduces the different structure forms of it,including the direct blowing type, the left counter blowing type, the back counterblowing and the multi-port type. It also analyzes their performance through simulationresults of the inner flow field.In the simulation results of flow field part, the thesis does some simulationresearch on the latest V-shaped suction nozzle and several traditional forms andcompares their comprehensive performance according to the results of simulation.The process of simulation analysis adopts three-dimensional modeling software toestablish the physical model. Then the model is imported in the preprocess softGambit to do the grid partitioning and to apply the boundary conditions. At last, theprocessed model is imported in the Fluent to do the simulated analysis.
