Viscous damper is an effective passive damping device, applied in more and more earthquake engineering by increasing structure damping to dissipate seismic energy. In practical engineering, most structural engineers first fix the bottom of the structure, then do seismic analysis. But this ignores the influence of soil-structure interaction on the damping effect. This paper summarizes and describes the analytical methods for soil-structure interaction, and proposes analysis method of soil-structure interaction, expecting Its better to be able to affect the response of soil-structure interaction structure when the impact and the overall damping effect by soil structure subjected.Soil-structure interaction by the additional consideration to the damping structure, the structure of the first response spectrum analysis, and accordingly get the damper damping parameters, and thus the nonlinear dynamic analysis of structures. This paper analyzes the structure model of the earthquake under three seismic waves, and compares analysis of the drift displacement angle changes when the seismic wave is not the same, and compares floor response between structure with and without dampers. Taking into account the structure of the economic rationality, the damper layout scheme optimized for comparative analysis. This has been the most rational economic structure system of viscous damper layout scheme.
