Because of the high speed centrifugal compressor, high power, high manufacturingprecision, is a large mechanical rotating equipment, so it’s very versatile and plays in thepetrochemical industry, energy and power, aerospace and metallurgical productiondepartments a very important role. In order to ensure its normal operation, to avoidunnecessary trouble, troubleshooting centrifugal compressor with the importance can notbe ignored. In all the fault of a centrifugal compressor, the vibration failures are morecommon, if a failure affects the life of a centrifugal compressor would affect productivity.So we have to before a failure occurs accurately detect the cause of the vibration of itsfailure, in order to avoid huge losses. So can quickly and accurately identify the fault playsa big role in fault diagnosis centrifugal compressor. In this paper, we have caused thecompressor vibration and vibration characteristics are discussed and used repeatedlymeasuring vibration centrifugal compressor failure in the actual production, and bymeasuring the vibration of the vibration spectrum curve and its comprehensive analysis ofthe phenomenon in the unit vibration combined rotor unbalance, misalignment of the rotor,oil whip, the friction between the rotor and the gas seal, surge phenomenon in-depthresearch and analysis. By using ANSYS software centrifugal compressor impeller three-dimensional finite element model of the centrifugal force, the analysis of the stress stateunder the centrifugal force of the impeller, the influence of different ways to connect to theimpeller shaft stress. The results show that when the centrifugal compressor impellerrotation, the outer periphery of the impeller is relatively high stress, the stress is greaterthan the wheel cover on the wheel, and the stress is prone to stress concentration at the rootof the blade should be appropriate circle angle to avoid the stress concentration, stressoccurs where a relatively large hole in the impeller interference fit, relatively large force isrequired to determine a reasonable amount of interference, it is necessary to ensure that noloose impeller and the impeller bore the strength conditions. In the modal analysis of the rotor, the calculation of the first six natural frequencies, in order to ensure the safety of thecompressor, the system can adjust the operating frequency, away from the resonanceregion. Through analysis and research, there are many factors that affect the vibration of acentrifugal compressor, vibration phenomena can be determined jointly by a variety offactors in the analysis of vibration, we must consider a variety of methods in order tocorrectly determine the cause of the vibration.
