Based on engineering research background of Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-city which is astrategic cooperation project between China and Singapore to improve the living environmentand build an eco-culture, the solar photovoltaic special plans combined with thecharacteristics of eco-city construction in the analyzed energy forecasting, energy balance,energy optimization and characteristics of various methods. The solar power generationphysical model was used as energy forecasting method and get day, month, year generatingcapacity of photovoltaic power generation system in Eco-city using C++programminglanguage to complete the process.After analyzing the climatic conditions, solar energy resources, building roof shape andcharacteristics of the eco-city in Tianjin, the solar photovoltaic power generation combinedwith the building (BIPV) are applied. The photovoltaic power generation forecasts,investment budget, economic analysis and social analysis for the building roof of variousecological zones within Area05was been calculated.Though tracking and post-project evaluation for photovoltaic applications of photovoltaicpower generation systems in the Eco-city Service Center, Sewage Treatment Plant, CartoonCity and street lighting, it was indicated that the pre-PV special plan is a reasonable andrealize the concept of Eco-city’s "Green, Low Carbon, Sustainable Development".
