With the rapid development of modern industry, the traditional storage methods cannotmeet the needs of production and circulation. Presents the dynamic changes in marketdemand trends, storage system products out of storage frequency corresponding changesalso occurred in this case to regular cargo space optimization. In the face of thousands ofware location and cargo space, warehouse dynamic slotting optimization has become thekey factor to improve storage access efficiency and lower the warehouse cost.The development of modern logistics equipment technology and warehousemanagement has changed the traditional warehousing labor-intensive, inefficientbackwardness. It has important practical significance in order to improve responseefficiency, reduce costs, reduce cargo loss, increase storage systems revenue, andimprove the market competitiveness of enterprises.This dissertation take a Hardware&Electrical Equipment Company warehouse storagecenter as the research object, combining with domestic and international research resultsof warehouse slotting optimization, and anglicizing of the main problems and currentsituation of the company to optimize the storage location. First, the use of SLP law wasplanning its warehouse district, then a cargo rack storage areas for optimization.Secondly, to extract from the company ERP system of the underlying data, combinedcargo space constraints and optimization principles to build a multi-purpose function andchanges with weight coefficient method to convert into a single objective function tosolve it. On this basis, through comparative analysis, genetic algorithm is selected, andappropriately improved genetic algorithm to make it more suitable for solving themathematical model of this article.Finally, MATLAB language is used to program algorithms solving the model throughsimulation experiments, to verify its feasibility. A new way of thinking is provided tosolve dynamic slotting optimization warehousing center for the company’s. The kind of operation summed up is simple, fast, practical and feasible for solving the slottingoptimization.
