Firstly, based on the basic theory of LPMBDCM, by using the method of circuit analysis coupled with field computation and general time-stepping difference technique, a series of nonlinear time-stepping finite element equations under constant voltage excitation are derived in this thesis.Secondly, based on the mathematic model of LPMBDCM, simulation models of LPMBDCM are constructed with the machine’s differential equations and the simulation block of S-Function in the MATLAB. The dynamic performance of LPMBDCM is dissertated.Finally, based on TMS320LF2407 DSP. A TMS320LF2407 chip is applied to the controller in this system. A PWM drive circuit based on IR2130 has been developed. The open-loop of the system run successfully. The chapter of hardware design first expounds the whole design. Then the design of several primary circuits such as drive circuit, current measure circuit, position measure circuit, separating circuit, protecting circuit and anti-jamming circuit are discussed emphatically. The choice of some important electronic components and their parameters in these circuits is discussed briefly. The chapter of software design also first expounds the whole design. Then some interrupt service sub routines and function service sub routines are introduced in detail. These programs mainly realize the functions of position measurement, commutation control, positive and negative movement control, producing PWM wave, etc.The above control system is applied to the prototype that is designed by the author, the experiment results indicate that the digital control system based on TMS320LF2407 chip can make the motor start successfully and run smoothly. The current curve shows a good agreement with the simulation result of MATLAB, and all the techniques have reached the anticipant goal.
