This paper introduced the design and accomplishment of a distributed multi-channel high speed data acquisition equipment applied in GIS Partial Discharge on-line monitoring system. The analog signal obtained by the UHF transducer, high frequency current transducer and ultrasonic wave transducer is first processed by the low-pass filter in acquisition system. Through analog to digital converter by the AD sample board, the digital dada is stored in the local memory. The digital data can be fetched and be processed by the data processing board. After the digital signal process in the DSP, the data will be transfered to the host through ethernet interface for further analysis. The main contents of this project include analog signal process, high speed acquisition, digital data processing, TCP/IP net port. The project is made for the GIS Partial Discharge on-line monitoring system. The highest sampling rate can reach up to 500MHz. According to the request of the host, the system can accomplish the data acquisition, the DSP algorithm and transfer the results to the host through variety of interfaces. So the equipment can meet the request of the GIS PD on-line monitoring system. On the base of introducing the project’s background and the system object, the paper then analyzed the key parts of the system and provides detailed information of the hardware and software design of the system. In the end, the paper summarized the whole system and its results, also provided a direction to improve the system.
