The Evaluation Of The Fruit’s Economic Character Of The Sapindus Mukurossi And The Election Of The Superior Tree

Sapindus mukorossi is an important economic species. the experiment material come mainlyfrom Anhui Huangshan、Jiangxi Ji’an、Jiangxi Gannan.To discuss and select the superior tree, aseries of measurements were conducted on their growth condition、the diameter at breast height、the output of the fruits、the morphological characteristics of the fruits (which includes thetransverse diametre、the longitudinal diameter、the thickness of the fruits)、the output of the seed、the morphological characteristics of the seed (which includes the transverse diametre、thelongitudinal diameter、the thickness of the seeds)、the saponin content of the peel、the oil contentof the kernel. Analysis of variance and multiple comparisons are needed to analysis the results toprovide fundamental basis for the selection of excellent strains of Sapindus mukorossi. The mainresearch results are as following:1. The results of Sapindus mukorossi’s fruits showed: the1000fruit weight is AnhuiHuangshan>Jiangxi Ji’an>Jiangxi Gannan.The size of the fruits grow bigger when the latitudinalis higher to some extent.The fruit shape indexes mostly are between0.8~0.9,the shape of thefruit is close to the round.The content of saponin in the peel of Sapindus mukorossi is Huangshan〈Jiangxi Ji’an〈Jiangxi Gannan.To some extent, this showed that the average content of saponinin the arillus of Sapindus mukorossi is lower when the latitudinal is higher.At last, elevenexcellent individual plants were chosen in all.They were Wan60、Wan18、Wan16、Wan44、Wan61、Wan21、Ji14、Ji17、Ji20、Gan16、Gan07.2. The result of the seeds of Sapindus mukorossi showed: the1000seed weight of Sapindusmukorossi’s seeds is Anhui Huangshan>Jiangxi Ji’an>Jiangxi Gannan.There was a positivecorrelation between the output of the seeds and the fruits. It’s the same with the change rule ofthe size of the fruits. The difference among the seed characters from the three places isscarecely.They are all close to sphericity. The average oil content of the kernel from AnhuiHuangshan、Jiangxi Ji’an、Jiangxi Gannan are41.85%、41.85%、50.1%respectively. In the end,ten excellent individual plants were chosen in all.They were Wan59、Wan21、Wan65、Wan12、Wan31、Ji04、Ji14、Ji17、Gan06、Gan16.
