Grape has become one of the fastest-growing fruits with the highest cost efficiency in Zhejiang Province. The trends of consumption of table grape are seedless, large berries and safety. Plant growth regulator has had good effects in increasing seedless rate, enlargement of berries and berry setting rate of grape. But it also got bad influence on commercial property and quality of grape due to varieties and producers.In this study, the influence of plant growth regulator on seedlessness of ’Zuijinxiang’ and ’Fujiminori’ grapes, enlargement of’Summer black’grapes and berry setting of’Zaotian’grapes are investigated to improve the quality of main grape varieties in Zhejiang Province. Results were as following:1. GA3(12.5ppm) and CPPU (10ppm) were treated1-3d and10-15d after full bloom separately can increase seedless rate and enlargement of berries of ’Zuijinxiang’. For’Fujiminori’, treatment of GA3(25ppm)1-3d after full bloom and CPPU (5ppm)10-15d after full bloom can achieve the same results. We also get large berries of’Summer black’ after using GA3(25ppm)+CPPU (5ppm)1-3d and10-15d after full bloom. GA3(12.5ppm)+CPPU (5ppm) were treated10-15d after bloom to increase the berry setting of’Zaotian’.2. One time treatment of plant growth regulator after blooming in European-American hybrid grapes is necessary. The effects of GA3+CPPU combination were better than that of using GA3only. The change of treatment times and consistency of plant growth regulator should be forbidden for security reasons.
