Lycoris genus is bulbs perennial herb of amaryllidaceae (Amaryllidaceae), mainly distributed in the provinces south of the Yangtze River in China, South Korea and Japan in East Asia. Lycoris species easily hybridize with each other; hybrids of morphological features vary frequently in nature and among cultivated genotypes. The south area of the Yangtze River in China may be the origin of the speciescenter and differentiation. Hybridization and polyploidy is considered to be the genus species formed way. the interspecific phylogenetic relationships of Lycoris blur due to frequent hybridization, and the number of species within the genus and the taxonomic status of some species there is a dispute, so, the aim of this study focus on the follows:(1) Analysis of chloroplast DNA fragments of trns-trnfM sequences of Lycoris in the phylogenetic relationships among species of Lycoris based on that, as a monophyletic group, tree, close relative relationship groups clustered into one branch, hybrids and their possible parents together on a branch..(2) Relationship between species and chromosomal taxonomy of the genus trns-trnfM sequence reveals the Lycoris results generally consistent, mainly in having acrocentric chromosome and has a central portion and acrocentric chromosome of each into a, this taxonomy and morphology and chromosome results; the difference is that with a central, end and a proximal end the pair of three types of chromosome which is dispersed in the other two, support of polyploid and non euploid karyotype is of hybrid origin hypothesis.(3) Reveals a clear Lycoris interspecific phylogenetic relationships, found some subspecies and hybrids need to reconsider the classification status, but also evidence of Lycoris hybridization and polyploidy speciation mode.(4) Based on chloroplast DNA (cpDNA) fragments of rp132-trnL, trnL-trnF and SSR molecular marker of widely distributed species of Lycoris radiata (L.radiata) phylogeographic studies show that:East China (Zhejiang, Anhui, Jiangsu) is the center of genetic diversity of Chinese Lycoris radiata genetic, population has a high level of genetic diversity(5) The haplotype distribution map and the TCS network diagram analysis shows that the East China (Zhejiang, Anhui, Jiangsu) into the origin and differentiation center of China of Lycoris radiata Lycoris radiata; support for Japanese and Korean populations originated from China’s conjecture.
