With the energy shortage problem has become increasingly prominent; how to ease the contradiction between energy supply and demand has become a major problem that faced the world. At the same time, China put forward the slogans of "To make a sustained effort to practice strict economy", this idea is necessary to implement in agriculture as the same. Based on this, the more rational design of agricultural machinery can be cost-effective, improve efficiency, while reducing unnecessary waste and pollution, is an important part to achieve sustainable development It has important practical significance.Rice, as the most important food crop in China, its harvest is very important. Mechanization in paddy field is a very important part of agricultural mechanization in our country. Therefore, improving the level of agricultural mechanization in our country and the mechanization technology content, will has important influence to the output of rice, will provide a powerful boost to the development of our economy.This project developed a Rice Transplanter of the seedlings with soil. Its work can achieve16rows at the same time. By using soft plastic seedling bowl technology to the seedlings, the whole process the seedlings with soil till to plant, it can make the seedlings without damage basically, and ensure efficient operations. This transplanter design mainly divided into four systems:engine, walking device, lifting devices and the seedlings putting devices. In the design process we mainly focus on the Mechanism design, theoretical research, the virtual prototype simulation research and experimental research of this new type of transplanter system. First, we analyzed the existing machine, and in the new design we have solved the design probtem about the synchronization of mechanical systems and the design of the transmission system. And through the mathematical analysis, we calculate the related parameters, then, each part of the machine have been carried on the detailed design, including the principle of design, structure design and dynamic system design of the mechanical system. And completed the design of3D model of the whole system and virtual assembly based on the SOLIDWORKS software, and using analysis of dynamics by the theory of dynamics by the von Mises analysis. And base on the basis of the final assembly of the finished product, in order to verify the virtual testing before of the new transplanter.
