With the increasingly serious energy problems, biomass energy as a renewable energy source more and more attention has been paid. Large amounts of biomass raw materials produced by the vast rural areas, including all kinds of crop straw, forestry waste and so on, biomass carbonization furnace is so movement difficult and expensive that it not suitable for use in rural areas. In this paper, according the characteristics of crop straw, in order to reduce the equipment cost and easy operation for the purpose, the research and design of the flue gas recycling of biomass carbonization furnace, Save energy at the same time to achieve the in-situ treatment of biomass materials, local use, Reduce the biomass raw material handling and transportation costs. The main work of this paper includes the following parts:1) It completes the design and processing of biomass carbonization furnace. Through the understanding and analysis of the domestic and foreign carbonization technology and equipments, combined with biomass carbonization calculation theory of data in the combustion process, technical parameters of biomass carbonization furnace is determined, and design of the movable flue gas recycle biomass carbonization furnace is completed. Basing on the traditional biomass carbonization furnace, the furnace achieves the mobility of equipment and the secondary combustion of smoke. We also do some processing.2) Through the experimental research on biomass carbonization furnace, we find that the once air inlet opening area has a significant effect on the properties of the biomass carbonization furnace, and influence the heating rate, carbonization temperature and rate. We also obtain the best once air inlet opening of area is5000mm2. Too small will appear incomplete combustion phenomenon of biomass materials and recycling flue gas, and too large will reduce the temperature of combustion chamber, meanwhile reduce the thermal efficiency.3) Carbonization time is one of the main factors affecting the carbonization rate. Too short will lead to incomplete carbonization. At this situation, the charring chambers of biomass materials still interact in the stage of refining and carbonization. Too long has little influence on biomass carbonization effect, but it will increase manpower and material resources and reduce the efficiency. By single factor test and orthogonal test, we obtain the optimum carbonization time is12h. It saves almost half of the time of traditional carbonization furnace.4) The mass ratio between the raw material of carbonization chamber and combustion chamber is one of the most important factors influencing the thermal performance of the biomass carbonization furnace. When the material of biomass burning is too small, the heat cannot achieve the complete carbonization of biomass burning material of carbonization chamber. When the material of biomass burning is too large, it will result in serious waste of resources, and cause over carbonization of biomass burning material of carbonization chamber. At the premise of ensuring the carbonization rate, it’s better not to increase the value of combustion material. This paper through analysis and design of single factor test and orthogonal test of the biomass carbonization furnace, determined the best quality that when the mass ratio between the raw material of carbonization chamber and combustion chamber is7:1, it can appear the best effect of carbonization.5) Temperature field on the biomass carbonization furnace was simulated and analyzed by the software, Ansys. In this way, we find out the temperature distribution trends and the dead angle of carbonization furnace, provide a theoretical basis for the following design and improvement. Analysis shows that, near the vent of carbonization furnace has the lowest temperature, and heat sink for biomass carbonization furnace can contribute to temperature uniform.6) According to the experiment and finite element simulation, we complete the fabrication and test of physical equipment, and the optimal parameters is obtained. It provides a theoretical basis for practical operation.
