Besides, theabsorption and distribution of flue-cured tobacco on Cd are also existing differences among varieties.Pot experiments were carried out to investigate the differences in cadmium absorption sensitivitybetween10flue-cured tobacco cultivars, and the change of cadmium contents in roots, stems and leaveswere differences in different growth period, aiming to find the low Cd accumulation flue-cured tobaccovarieties. And this can be the guidance to the security of tobacco production, providing a theoreticalbasis for the absorption limit of tobacco to Cd. The test results are as follows:1. The dose of Cd has an effect on the growth of flue-cured tobacco. Low levels of Cd have apositive effect on the growth of flue-cured tobacco while high levels of Cd may inhibit the growth offlue-cured tobacco.2. Effect of Cd on the growth of flue-cured tobacco varies in varieties. Different varieties offlue-cured tobacco root system have different sensitivity and tolerance to Cd, most varieties offlue-cured tobacco root system have certain tolerance to low Cd and are sensitive to high Cd; The rootsof NC89, Longjiang851and Cuibi1were more sensitive to cadmium toxicity reaction, then followed byK326and Yunyan87, the roots of Yunyan85and Yuyan3were stronger tolerance to cadmium. Both thelow and high cadmium content can promote the growth of tobacco leaf, and the roots of tobacco weremore sensitive to cadmium toxicity reaction than the tobacco leaves.3. There is a correlation between the multiple changes of Cd in flue-cured tobacco and Cd additionlevel. The multiple changes of Cd in most varieties of flue-cured tobacco are close to the multiplechanges of the Cd added content in soil. When the multiple change of Cd content in the stem at a lowerlevel, it is close to the multiple changes of the Cd added content in soil or even higher, however, itbecomes lower when it at higher level. The multiple change of Cd content in leaf is lower than themultiple changes of the Cd added content in soil.4. In different growth period, the cadmium contents in roots, stems and leaves were differences. The change trend of cadmium content in roots was first increased and then decreased, the cadmiumcontent in stems was first decreased and then increased, the cadmium content in leaves was decreased, and in different growth period, the flue-cured tobacco varieties which was the less sensitive to thecadmium were difference.5. The content and accumulation of Cadmium were significant differences in different flue-curedtobacco cultivars. The cadmium accumulation of Zhongyan100and Xiangyan3were lower than othertobacco varieties even when the cadmium contents of soil reached the alert level. Flue-cured tobaccocultivars had different cadmium absorption sensitivity to different cadmium contents. Zhongyan100andHonghuadajinyuan are less sensitive to Cd absorption whether they are at lower or higher Cd addedlevel, Cuibi1ã€Yuyan3and Longjiang851are more sensitive to Cd absorption when they are at lower Cdadded level, Yunyan87ã€K326are more sensitive to Cd absorption when they are at higher Cd addedlevel. 6. Cd enrichment factor and Cd migration coefficient were differences among different flue-curedtobacco cultivars, but all the tobacco varieties had a strong ability on cadmium accumulation andupward migration; More than80%of the cadmium absorption absorbed from the environment wassaved in the flue-cured tobacco leaves. Thus choosing the flue-cured tobacco cultivars with lowercadmium accumulation can improve the security of the cigarette production. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | cadmium, flue-cured tobacco varieties, absorption, accumulation, sensibility | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
