This paper studied the statistical difference among the representative varietiesof flue-cured tobacco Yunyan87, K326, Qinyan96, Zhongyan100and Yuyan No.6inseeding growth, agronomic traits and disease resistance in field, the flue-cured tobaccochemical quality and economic traits, used randomized block experimental design inChongqing Fengdu area. The results were as follows:1Difference of seeding growth among varietiesThere were variations of seeding growth among different flue-cured tobacco varieties, and mainly reflected in the root length and dry seeding weight. During the whole seedingperiod, Yuyan No.6was better than the others in root length, total shoot length, fresh shootweight and dry seeding weight, and had a faster growth rate, strong adaptability and growthpotential. The total shoot length of K326was shorter than Qinyan96, but the overallperformance of K326was good. Qinyan96was good at root length and total shoot length, and it grew fast in latter period, but, the dry seeding weight of Qinyan96was not so good asothers because of slow accumulation of dry matter. As different varieties of flue-curedtobacco had different moisture content, so the fresh shoot weight and dry seeding weightwas not proportional relationship.2Diversity analysis of different varieties of flue-cured tobaccoQinyan96was the best in agronomic performance of the varieties, and it had sturdystem and better lodging-resistant than others. Owing to the variety characterisitics wasdifferent of flue-cured tobacco varieties, difference variety had different botanical charactersin the same ecological conditions, then there was diversity of adaptability among varieties, and there were significant or extremely significant difference among flue-cured tobaccovarieties. Moreover, different flue-cured tobacco varieties was different in growth anddevelopment during growing period, some varieties grew fast early as Zhongyan100, whilesome grew fast latter as K326, but, some grew fast during the whole growth period such asQinyan96and Yuyan No.6.The chemical quality of lower part of the varieties was in a suitable range expect sugaralkali ratio was relatively high. The chemical quality of all varieties of middle and upperleaves was also in the suitable range, but in general, Yuyan No.6, Zhongyan100and Qinyan96were better than others in chemical quality and the harmonize among chemicalcomposition.3Significant analysis of the dynamic of dry matter accumulation of different varietiesFor dry matter accumulation, Zhongyan100on stem and leaf dry matter accumulationrate was significantly lower than that in the root, root growth ability was better than thecrown. Yuyan No.6while the rate of root dry matter accumulation was fast, stem and leafalthough the accumulation rate was slow, but the accumulation was high. Qinyan96hadsimilar dry matter accumulation curve and closely growth relationship between root and stem, and its leaf dry matter accumulation rate was stable. The root dry matter accumulationrate of K326was fast later, but made the less dry matter accumulation of aboveground. While the main variety Yunyan87both accumulation rate and accumulation weresignificantly than the other varieties. In short, the Yuyan No.6and Qinyan96in each part ofthe dynamic of dry matter accumulation showed significantly higher than the other varieties.4Grey correlation analysis between agronomic characters and main chemical components influe-cured tobaccoThe correlation between agronomic characters and main chemical composition wasdifferent due to chemical composition and agronomic traits, and the correlation ofagronomic traits and chemical compositions of flue-cured tobacco leaves in different partsof the degree was different. The chlorine content of middle and upper leaves was inmaximum degree with stem girth, and the total sugar and reducing sugar content were inmaximum with the most parietal long. Therefore, the content of chemical components couldbe obtained by changing planting pattern and the field management and other agriculturalmeasures, made the chemical components of flue-cured tobacco more coordinated andhigher availability of tobacco industry.5Analysis of different flue-cured tobacco disease resistanceThe morbidity of Yuyan No.6was the highest, Zhongyan100taken second place, andYunyan87was the lowest. The susceptible plants of K326and Yunyan87the illness waslight, and Qinyan96the condition was serious although the low incidence rate, so, thedisease index of Qinyan96was higher than K326and Yunyan87.6Analysis of different varieties of flue-cured tobacco economic traitsEconomic traits Qinyan96was significantly higher than that of the others. Because ofthe first-class tobacco proportion of Yuyan No.6was significantly higher than that ofYunyan87, so the average price of Yuyan No.6was significantly higher than that of Yunyan87although secondary smoke almost equal, and then the value of Yuyan No.6wassignificantly higher than that of Yunyan87. Obviously that high output value couldcontribute to the first-class tobacco proportion when there was no extreme significantlydistinction in output. The first-class tobacco proportion of K326was extreme significantlyhigher than that of Zhongyan100, and both of their average prices were almost equal, so theoutput value of K326was no significantly distinction with Zhongyan100due to its loweroutput than Zhongyan100.
