Extraction Of Land Resources Information And Grassland Suitability Evaluation In The Area Of Yarlung Zangbo River And Its Two Tributaries

Naidong County locates in the Shannan region of Tibet Yarlung Zangbo River and itstwo Tributaries, as its economic, political and cultural center. For a long time, the supply offorage is imbalance,and natural grass is under pressure,so the trend of grassland degradationis significantly worse. As excessive pursuit of crop production and the neglect of ecologicaland environmental protection, the phenomena of soil erosion and land degradationbecomes serious. Naidong County is a main commodity grain base in Shannan region.However, the unreasonable use of land resources is obvious. It is need for rational landsuitability evaluation and potential assessment. Rational planning and management of landare needed to play the maximum potential of land resources.This article use the computer automatic extraction and manual management tocomplete Naidong County land information classification and extraction in complex terrainand steep mountain areas; By building grass-suitability evaluation system, the wasteland ismodified to optimal configuration of the artificial grass land. So as to achieve the premise ofensuring food production, and fully and reasonably use of resources, appropriatedevelopment of grass to gain a win-win purpose. The main results are given as follows:(1) This paper uses stitching of multi-spectral image, setting of single band threshold,multiband combination and setting of threshold, texture analysis, manual management toextract and classify the land resources information in Naidong County. Eventually obtainseach of the categories of land, size distribution, as well as the integrative map of land-use.(2) Based on statistical data, field investigation point, the Google earth image, in thisarticle NC verification is conducted to verify the extraction and verification results of landresources, all the accuracy rate are more than90%,which indicates the extraction andverification results of land resources accuracy.(3) With index sum and limiting condition methods, Suitability evaluation of suitablegrass wasteland in NaiDong County was carried based on topography and geomorphology,This paper uses source conditions. This paper use arcgis natural intermittent method toreclassify and get comprehensive Suitability evaluation graph. Highly suitable,moderatelysuitable,marginally suitable,inappropriate rates are12.28%,18.66%,14.74%,54.32%.(4)From the result of suitability evaluation, inappropriate suitable grassland mainlydistributed in the north and southeast,and suitable areas are mainly distributed in central andsouthern. It is related with lower elevation, smaller slope, and better water conditions,whichare more suitable for the cultivation of artificial grass in central and southern.
