A system study of Aphelinidae in Xinjiang Province of China was conducted in the presentpaper, including three parts. In Part One, Introduction, historical and current state,economical importances of Aphelinidae, method of the study, and general characteristicswere introduced. In Part Two, Systematics, altogether nine genera and fifteen speciescollected from the region were recorded, including one genus, Diaspiniphagus Silvestri,new to China; one new species, Cocobius fukangensis sp. nov.; two species, Aphelinusflaviventris Kurdjumov and Coccophagus gossypariae Gahan, new to China; one species,Pteroptrix longiclava (Girault), new to Xinjiang Province; male of Diaspiniphagus moeris(Walker), first report from China; and some other species known from the region were alsobrifly introduced. Some incorrectly used generic and specific names were also corrected in thisstudy. Part Three is Conclusions and Discussions. Keys to all the genera and species of the regionwere provided and photographs of all the described species were attached. This study provide animportant fundmental data for the identification of aphelinid natural enemies and biocontrol ofagricultural and forestry pests.Type specimens of new species were deposited in Insect Collections of Northeast ForestryUniversity, Harbin, China.
