The species of genus of Aphytis Howard (Hymenoptera:Chalcidoidea:Aphelinidae) are important primary ectoparasites of armored scale insects (Hemiptera:Coccoidea:Diaspididae) and play an important role in biological control.The genus of Aphytis contains six species-groups worldwid, proclia group, lingnanensis group, funicularis group, chrysomphali group, mytilaspidis group and chilensis group,115 species in total. In China,40 species of the genus have known so far, contains five speices except chilensis group. Seventeen species in five species-groups of Chinese species of the genus Aphytis Howard were studied in the present paper, including five new species, A. dianensis sp. nov., A. pseudojaponicus sp. nov., A. tridentatus sp. nov., A. longispur sp. nov. and A. breviclavus sp. nov., one country new record species, A. bangalorensis. Domestic new distributional data for seven species were also recorded. All the citations, characteristics, distributions, hosts, diagnosis and photos of the species were provided in detail and a key to all the known Chinese species of the genus was also provided.All the type specimens were deposited in the Insect Collections of Northeast Forestry University.
