Potato is the fourth largest planting crop in the world which is only less than wheat, corn and rice. The cultivation area and production of potato in china is more than any other countries. Great importance has been attached to potato production and industrial development by state and local governments, because of potato is one of the most potential planting crops. Jianghan plain is not only one important grain producing area, but can also further enhance food production. The potato production in the region can be improved by making full use of local natural resources and potato yield increasing potentiality to give much more potato to the market and to the further development and utilization of potato provide sufficient raw materials. For that reason, we have make Jianghan Plain potato cultivation technology research in the typical zones to obtain different cultivation techniques from different experiments to give a reference to the high-yield cultivation in jianghan plain.To analyzed the influence of different cultivated factors and practices on growth process, agronomic traits, economic traits, yield and economic benefit of Favorite, and screen the best cultivation technique for high yield of Favorite, the cultivation experiments were conducted on virus-free potato Favorite including multi factor test, single factor test and chemical control test in Jing-zhou, Luo-tian and Guang-shui.The results showed that:1) Multifactor orthogonal test:experimental site had significant influence on growth period(F=147.08> F0.01),sowing date had great significant influence on growth period(F=15.68>F0.01), The other5fractors had no significant difference on growth period. The relationship between sowing date and growth period displayed significant negative correlation, r=-0.9361*. Density had great significant influence on yield (F=4.12>F0.01), sowing date had significant influence on yield(F=3.55>F0.05), other fractors had no significant difference on yield. There were positive correlation significantly between density and yield(R=0.9782**). In25treatments, the economic benefit of treatment7, was better than others, which should be applied in production. treatment8.2) Single factor test:There were positive correlation significantly between density and growth period (R=0.9907**);the relationship between density and rate of seedling emergence is y=0.0004x2-0.026x+1.0033(R2;=0.9241); This was a significantly negative correlation between density and numbers of main stem(R=0.0.9925**); density showed positive correlation with plant height(R=0.9735**); density showed negative correlation with tubers per hill (R=0.9645**); the relationship between density and tuber weight per plant is y=-0.4387x2+11.185x+139.78(R2=0.8374); density showed negative correlation with commodity potato rate (R=0.9379**); Density had great significant influence on yield (F=14.95> F0.01), the relationship between density and yield is y= -54.001x2+2079.8x+2364.5(R2=0.726); Density had great significant influence on marketable tuber yield (F=5.309> F0.05), the relationship between density and marketable tuber yield is y=-42.655x2+1418.8x+2909.3(R2=0.7672); In the test, the density with15x104plant/hm2had good comprehensive characters,whole yield and marketable tuber yield of was better than others,.3)Chemical control test:drought-resistant agent had great significant influence on seedling stage (F=44.91>F0.01),seedling emergence (F=10.05> F0.01) and growth period(F=25.18>F0.01); it had significant influence on plant height(F=5.1>F0.05) and tubers per hill(F=5.3>Fo.os); it had great significant influence on yield (F=37.67>F0.01), marketable tuber yield(F=16.50>F0.01) and commodity potato rate(F=233.79>F0.01). The yield which was treated by drought-resistant agent was higher than the check; the. treatment which was treated by seed dressing and spraying was better than treated by only seed dressing; the treat of seed dressing and spraying once can significantly improve marketable tuber yield and economic benefit, respectively.
