Looking for screening suitable cotton male sterile line, supporting the implementation of three lines, is the current cotton heterosis research an important way. Radiation treatment is to produce male sterile mutation of the most effective means of mutation, with small changes in the genetic background, the test cycle is short, and other advantages. The purpose of this study is the use of60Co γ-ray radiation screening upland male sterile mutant male sterile line breeding as to provide a basis.In this study, our group is the existing20kinds of upland cotton material, the use of60Co γ-ray irradiation, through artificial selection, microscopic examination, physiological and biochemical parameters were measured and used to correct the difference between the DNA level approach fertile plants screened suitable sterile mutants to compare their traits, compared to the implicit rules of the indicators.
