Feed hammer millis one of the core equipment of our traditional feed grinding industry, It is a simple structure, good versatility, high productivity and the use of safety advantages, the structural characteristics of traditional feed hammer milllead to the grinding chamber of the feed mill grinding exist air circulation layer. It result the high power consumption and low separation efficiency.A new feed hammer millis designed to decrease the impact of air circulation layer, It effectively avoid the impact of air circulation layer. But in the design process also found the new feed mill hammer exists the problem of excessive reflux and low transport,In this paper, author made a further study of these problems..Firstly, author discusses the research background of the feed hammer milland the development status at home and abroad.It is also expound the significance of the new feed hammer mill, The new feed hammer millmaterial separation process were analyzed from the knowledge of fluid mechanics.Secondly, to solve the problem of excessive reflux of the new feed hammer grinder, the separation device of the feed mill hammer is researched. At the same time,separation apparatus structure is improved. the gas-solid flow state in the separation device was simulated based on the finite element analysis software FLUENT,introducing the idea of opening pore in the feed back pipe can reduce the material reflux. Simulation results show that opening hole in the feed back pipe can reduce the influence of negative pressure of the central area to the flow state,it is a good way to solve the problem of excessive back flow of the new feed hammer mill, also can improve the separation efficiency of the new feed hammer mill. Using FLUENT software simulation ansys on feed back tube at different sizes and different position,found that the different hole size and the different location and the different numbers of the hole can influence the material separation efficiency and the return flow. Draw a conclusion, in a certain range of hole diameter, the hole diameter more larger the back flow of the gas more smaller, the more beneficial to material separation. And based on this conclusion, use the software of ANSYS Workbench to make the fluid-solid interaction analysis, static analysis and modal analysis on the separation device structure,Provide a theoretical basis for the the later rational design separation device structure.Thirdly, in order to solve the problem of low transport efficiency of the new feed hammer mill,based on the use of finite element analysis software FLUENT to simulation the gas-solid flow of the feed hammer mill and combination of simulation software ANSYS Workbench to the grinder rotor fluid-structure interaction analysis,draw a conclusion that if increase plate between the fixed plate not only can improve the strength of the rotor but also can increasing the efficiency of the delivery of materials. Simulation results show that increase plate between the fixed plate not only can improve the strength of the rotor but also can increasing the efficiency of the delivery of materials.Finally, measure the speed of the outlet velocity by the test in a given speed, having or not having holes and the fixed plate, analy the test results to verify the correctness of the simulation results.
