Grassland resources has important significance to the development of grasslandanimal husbandry, grassland degradation is the impact factors for the steadydevelopment of grassland animal husbandry, at the same time overgrazing is the mostimportant reason for degeneration, establishing breeding balance mode can effectivelyimprove the grass production efficiency and recover the ecological environment, thenrealize the grassland animal husbandry sustainable development. Ping shanhu Townbelongs to the typical desert grassland, Hexi cashmere goat is mainly livestock, theexisting livestock production way caused serious influence to the local ecologicalenvironment. Analysising the cashmere goat production system breeding balance isthe premise to realize breeding balance mode. This experiment select four typicalnomads for studying, through monitoring grassland and livestock productionperformance measurement, nomads economic benefit analysis andmeteorological datacollection, using in metabolism for evaluation of breeding balance evaluation modelto analysis local breeding balance, and put forward the optimization method, combining with livestock precision management model analysis nomads economic, then guide the selection and weed out of cashmere goat, reduce breeding stock, provide the method to realize Ping Shanhu area grassland animal husbandrysustainable development. This research concluded the following results:1. Ping shanhu Town grassland productivity is gradually improve from May toSeptember, grass yield is highest in September, about1399.0kg/hm~2, and grass yieldstrend to fall in October.2. Cold season female cashmere goat weight loss is about5.4kg.3. The test nomads female cashmare conception rate, average lambing rate were90.7%and92%respectively, the birth weight, first month weight, second monthsweight, and sell weight of kids were2.16kg,4.17kg,7.53kg,20.90kg of, male goatcashmere production and net rate average were404.67g,52.0%respectively, femalegoat cashmare production and net rate averages were377.51g,53.2%respectively. 4. Lactation performance with the increase of parity have been rising and fallingtrend, among them the second parity and third parity lactation performance is best.5. The analysis results through breeding balance model show that, the cashmeregoat actual intake less energy to maintain all the year of Ping shanhu Town, energyintake is far less than maintain in the cold season, when the lambing time is in June, itcan reduce down producing goat differences between energy supply and demand.6. Livestock precision management model analysis shows that, reducing nomadsgoat breeding37.0%can guarantee its economic efficiency unchanged, if improve thelevel of management, it can be further reduced by60.6%, significantly reducing thepress of grassland.
