| The comparison trials of ten flue-cured tobacco varieties were conducted in field, and their main character including agronomic trait,economic characters,botanial traits the resistance to disease,as well as appearance quality and inherent quality of original tobacco were compared and analyzed,and the grey correlation analysis method was employed for their multi-traits evaluation,the results showed that:1.Their dates of growth and development of Zhongyan90 and NC82 in the field were 115 day and 114 day,which were the shortest in the tested varieties,and the dates of growth and development of Gui-yan No 4 in the field was 126 day,which was the longest in the tested varieties,and that of the others were about 118 day,which was next to that of the control.In the effective leaf number,there were not significant difference among Zhongyan201,V2 and the control,and that of the others were in the range of 16.3 to 18.3,which were significantly less than that of control.2 Their resistance to TMV of Jin-haiNo1,Yunyan201,Yunyan202 and Yunyan203 were stronger than that of the control,their rate of field occurrence were from 0.13%to 3.44%,which were lower than that of the control.Their resistance to brown disease both Jin-hai No1 and Yunyan203 were stronger than that of the control,and the rate of field occurrence of climate spot and black shank disease were low in all varieties tested.,but did not reached 3.0%3 Their yield and production value of Yunyan203 and Gui-yan No4 were significantly higher than that of the control,while there were not significant difference among Jin-hai No1 and Yunyan202,and those of the others were significantly lower than that of the control.Their average price of NC82,Gin-haiNo1,Zhongyan201 and Yunyan202 were significantly higher than that of the control,but the average price of V2 was significantly lower than that of the control,and there were not significant difference among the control and the others.In rate of middle-superior leaf,the rate of V2 was lower than that of the control,however,their rate of the others were obviously higher than that of the control,which were increased by 1.8%to 8.30%.4 There were significant difference in quality of original tobacco of tested varieties,Yunyan202,Yunyan203 and Jin-hai No1 had the better appearance quality, and their maturities were average,and their color were orange,and their color intensity were moderate,and their oil were rich,and their leaf structure were open,and the weight of their leaf were moderate,however,the Yu-yan No3 and V2 had bad performance on appearance quality in tested varieties.From inherent chemical component of original tobacco to see,the content of total sugar and reduced sugar were moderate,and the content of nicotine was higher than that of the contrast,its range was from2.05%to 3.44%,and the content of nitrogen was moderate,its range was from 1.14%to 2.43%,the range of content of chlorine was among 0.17%to 0.59%,and the range of content of kalium was among 2.0%to3.0%,which was lower than that of contrast.The ratio of sugar and nicotine,the nitrogen and nicotine,as well as the kalium and chlorine of Jin-hai No1,Yunyan201 and Yuyan202 were moderate.5 The results from grew correlation analysis method to all tested varieties was showed that whether the value of average correlatirity or weight correlatirity,the Yunnan203 was near to that of reference varieties,the next is Yunan202 and Jin-hai No1,their value of average correlatirity was 0.8405 and 0.8311,respectively.The sequence of comprehensive characters of Yun201,Gui-yan No4,the control were middle among the tested varieties.The comprehensive performance of Yu-yan No3 and V2 were poor,and the next were Zhongyan90 and Zhongyan201.The comprehensive valuation result indicated Yunyan202,Yunyan203 and Jin-hai No1 should be used to practice in big area for having good applicative patience,and the next were Gui-yan No 4 and Yunyan201,while Yu-nan No3 and V2 had poor performance on the comprehensive characters,so these were not adapted to plant in local region.
