Study On Application And Residue Of Pesticides In Tobacco In Yunnan Province

With the development of the global tobacco industry, tobacco pesticide residue, that is an important safety factor of tobacco, has become a focus of industry development. This paper discribes the dangers of tobacco pesticide residues, the domestic and international limits of tobacco pesticide residues. This paper introduces researches on the use and residue of tobacco pesticides, particularly analyzed the use and residue conditions of current tobacco farmer in Yunnan province.Survey results show that, it is lack of standardization and scientific knowledge in the process of tobacco cultivation in Yunnan province, tobacco pesticide residue conditions and exceeding phenomena are found in all regions of the province.Pesticide residues in tobacco have been checked out around all regions of Yunnan Province, and there are more or less excess of standards. The entire province’s average detection rate was77.78%for the15kinds of pesticide residues, there are two regions(Dali and Kunming) that have higher than the average detection rate, Qujing’s detection rate correspond to the entire Province’s average detection rate, Yuxi and Honghe have lower than the entire province’s average detection rate. Regions from the highest to lowest average detection rate are:Dali, Kunming, Qujing, Yuxi and Honghe. Dali has the highest detection rate, which is82.22%,9percentage points higher than Honghe’s73.33%, which is the province’s lowest detection rate. The entire province’s average pesticide residues excess of standards rate is11.11%for the15kinds of pesticide residues, there are also two regions(Dali and Honghe) that have higher than the province’s average excess of standards rate, Kunming’s excess of standards rate correspond to the entire province’s average rate, Yuxi and Qujing have lower than the entire province’s average rate. Regions from the highest to lowest average excess of standards rate are:Kunming, Dali, Honghe, Qujing and Yuxi. Dali has the highest excess of standards rate, which is17.78%,11percentage points higher than the Qunjing and Yuxi’s6.67%, which is the province’s lowest excess of standards rate. Based on these findings, this paper analyzes the main reasons of nonstandard and exceeding the limits of tobacco pesticides, and gives according countermeasures of governing, provides the reference for the management work of pesticide residues.
