This experiment is conducted to test the effect of the replacer developed by Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences for Tianfu lamb on growth performance and the variation of milk composition in early lactation. Forty five-day-old lambs (BW=4.57±0.24kg) were divided to test group and control group by the randomization with10ewes and10rams in each group. Lambs in the test group were feeded the milk replacer in the other pen, and lambs in the control group were feeded the milk..Body weight was measured on5,20,30,40,60and70days of age, body size was measured on5,40and70days of age in the morning before feeding.The results showed that:from5-day-old to20-day-old, the body weight of control group was extremely higher than the test group (P<0.01), but the average daily gain was remarkable higher than the test group (P<.05). From20-day-old to30-day-old, the body weight of control group was higher than the test group, the difference was remarkable (P<0.05). But the average daily gain was higher than the test group, but the difference was not remarkable. From30-day-old to40-day-old, the body weight of the control group was extremely higher than the test group (P<0.01), but the average daily gain of the test group was remarkable higher than the control group (P<0.05). From40-day-old to60-day-old, the body weight of the control group was higher than the test group, the difference was not remarkable. The average daily gain of the test group was remarkable higher than the control group (P<0.05). From60-day-old to70-day-old, the body weight of the test group was higher than the control group, the difference was not remarkable. The average daily gain of the test group was higher than the control group, the difference was remarkable (P<0.05). During the whole period, the average daily gain of the test group was higher than the control group, but he difference was not remarkable. The result of the body size showed that, at5-day-old, body length,withers height, chest width, circumference of cannon bone and chest circumference of the control group were higher than the test group. At40-day-old, the chest circumference of the control group was extremely higher than the test group (P<0.01), The chest width of the control group was higher than the test group, the difference was remarkable (P<0.05). the body length,withers height and circumference of cannon bone of the test group were higher than the control group, but the differences were not remarkable. At70-day-old, body length,withers height, chest width, circumference of cannon bone and chest circumference of the test group were higher than the control group, but the differences were not remarkable. In summary, milk replacer for early weaned lambs is feasible.Study on the variation of milk composition in early lactation of Tianfu goat. Select7healthy Tianfu primiparous ewes and7healthy multiparous ewes, determin the contents of milk composition, IgG. mineral matter, and density, acidity, pH at4h,12h,24h,36h,48h,72h,120h,168h,15d and30d after parturition.The results showed that, there were baund natnutritional values in milk of Tianfu goat. The contents of dry matter, the ash and IgG at4h after Parturition were highest, also the density and acidity were highest. The milk of multiparous ewes were16.32%,27.27%,2.00%,86.75mg/ml,55,1.045, The milk of primiparous ewes14.08%,26.02%,1.81%,58.99mg/ml,50,1.043. With the continuous extension of the lactation cycle, The contents of dry matter, the ash and IgG, the density and acidity would descend. However, the contents of lactose and fat descended firstly and then decreased, their contents were were highest at36h after Parturition. The contents of lactose and fat in milk of multiparous ewes were7.10%and4.83%, The contents of lactose and fat in milk of primiparous ewes were8.02%and4.82%. However, With the continuous extension of the lactation cycle, pH in milk of Tianfu goat was increased. At4h after Parturition, pH in milk of multiparous ewes and primiparous ewes were6.12and6.00. At30d after Parturition, pH in milk of multiparous ewes and primiparous ewes were6.88and6.56. The contents of mineral matter at4h after Parturition were the highest. The contents of Ca was the highest, then P, Mg, Zn, Fe and Cu.With the continuous extension of the lactation cycle, the contents of mineral matter descended. During the whole period, The content of every indexes in milk of multiparous ewes was higher than primiparous ewes. |
