The experiment conducted to investigate the effects of OKGM on immunity and antioxidant indices in Schizothorax prenanti Tchang.380healthy fishes with an average weight of (80.47±5.12g) were selected. Before experiment,18of them were selected for the sample. The remaining360fishes were randomly divided into6groups, and there are3replicates in each group with20fishes in each replicate.0,500mg/kg,1000mg/kg,2000mg/kg,4000mg/kg and8000mg/kg of OKGM were respectively added in the diets of6groups; The experiment lasted for60days. At the end of the experiment, relative growth rate, CF, SR, PER and FCR of each group were calculated. Head kidney index, spleen index, plasma lysozyme vitality, content of complement C3and IgM in plasma were determined. The activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), glutathione peroxidase (GSH-PX) and the contents of malondialdehyde (MDA) were determined. The group of E.coli, bifidobacterium and lactobacillus in intestine were determined. The results showed as follows:(1) After the experiment, FCR of4000mg/kg、8000mg/kg dose group were degraded, while2000mg/kg dose group was significantly lower, and PER of them were significantly higher. On the end, the relative growth rate of4000mg/kg、8000mg/kg dose group was significantly higher than the control group.(2) On the60th day, the increase of head kidney index were not significant(P>0.05). The spleen index of8000mg/kg dose group became significantly higher than the control group (P<0.05). The plasma lysozyme activity of4000mg/kg,8000mg/kg dose group were all significantly higher than the control group (P<0.05), while the plasma lysozyme activity between4000mg/kg and8000mg/kg dose group were not significant difference (P>0.05). The content of complement C3in plasma of groups which have been added OKGM were slightly higher than the control group (P>0.05). The plasma IgM levels of groups which have been added OKGM were all significantly higher (P<0.05) than the control group, while there were no significant difference between1000mg/kg,2000mg/kg,4000mg/kg and8000mg/kg dose group (P>0.05).(3) On the60th day, the contents of liver malondialdehyde (MDA) were not significantly different (P>0.05). The activities of liver glutathione peroxidase (GSH-PX) of2000mg/kg、4000mg/kg、8000mg/kg dose group was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05). The activities of serum catalase (CAT), only the liver catalase (CAT) of8000mg/kg dose group was significantly higher (P<0.05). The activities of liver superoxide dismutase (SOD) were not significantly different (P>0.05).(4) In the bowel, the OKGM is beneficial to Bifidobacterium and lactic acid bacteria growth (P<0.05), but the influence degree is different because of the different doses. In anterior segment, there was not significant effect to E. coli (P>0.05). In the middle intestine, the E. coli CFU of4000mg/kg and8000mg/kg dose groups decreased significantly (P<0.05). In the after intestine, the E. coli CFU of1000mg/kg,2000mg/kg,4000mg/kg and8000mg/kg dose groups were significantly lower than control group (P <0.05).It is suggested that:(1) Adding2000mg/kg,4000mg/kg,8000mg/kg OKGM can promote Schizothorax prenanti Tchang’s growth.(2) A dose of OKGM can reduce the serum cholesterol, triglyceride and low density lipoprotein content of Schizothorax prenanti Tchang, at the same time also can increase the levels of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol.(3) Adding2000mg/kg and4000mg/kg of OKGM can enhance immunity.(4) A dose of OKGM can enhance the antioxidant capacity of Schizothorax prenanti Tchang, reduce the lipid peroxidation of the body, strengthen the anti-oxidation performance of the fish.
