| The promotion of silage is conducive to the development of feed-saving animal husbandry. Alfafa is a high-quality plant, which provides high protein, amino acids, minerals and vitamins and other nutrients for ruminants. In this experiment, we studied the effects of extracting solution made by astragalus and hawthorn on in vitro growth of lactic acid bacteria from the fresh alfalfa extracts, which aimed to select suitable adding concentration, and then applied it to different moisture alfalfa silage, thus studying the fermentation quality and aerobic stability of alfalfa silage. The contents of the thesis include:Trial â… :The article studied the effect of milkvetch root with hawthorn extracting solution on in vitro growth of lactic acid bacteria from alfalfa extracts by adding0.1ml fresh alfalfa extracts into each tube, which included different concentration medium containing Chinese herbs (2%,4%,6%) and blank MRS culture medium. The results showed that milkvetch root and hawthorn promoted the growth of lactic acid bacteria in varied degrees. And when the concentration of milkvetch root was2%, or the concentration of hawthorn was4%, the number of lactic acid bacteria (logioCFU/g FM) was significantly higher than that of the control (P<0.05). When the adding concentration of milkvetch root was more than2%, the growth of lactic acid bacteria was inhibited. The optimum concentration of milkvetch root was2%. The amount of lactic acid bacteria increased as the contents of the hawthorn increased.Trial â…¡:The artical used three factors (moisture content, milkvetch root concentration, hawthorn concentration) and three levels standard orthogonal design table, and each moisture content set blank (without Chinese herbs extracts). There were12treatments with three replicates. The experiment analyzed the sample’s pH, dry matter, ammonia nitrogen/total nitrogen (NH3-N/TN), crude protein(CP), neutral detergent fiber(NDF), acid detergent fiber(ANF) and organic acids at the1st,3rd,5th,7th,15th,30th,45th day during the silage process. The results showed that:(1) In group A, pH of all the treatments and the ammonia nitrogen/total nitrogen ratio at the7th,15th,30th,45th day were lower than the control(P<0.05), at1st and45th day, the LA content was higher the control(P<0.05), BA was0at all the time and the NDF, ADF were lower than the control, while the CP contents were higher, but they had no significantly difference(P>0.05).(2) In group B, pH of the treatments were significantly lower than the control(P<0.05) and the content of NDF, ADF and CP were higher than CK group at all the test time but1st and5th day.Trial â…¢:Experimental design and test methods were the same with trial â…¡. The experiment analyzed the sample’s pH, dry matter, ammonia nitrogen/total nitrogen (NH3-N/TN), crude protein(CP), neutral detergent fiber (NDF), acid detergent fiber (ANF) and organic acids at1st,3rd,5th,7th day of the silage after the silage was exposed to the air.The results showed that:(1) In group A, at1st,3rd,5th day, the pH and NH3-N/TN of the treatments with Chinese herbs were significantly lower than the control(P<0.05), LA contents and CP contents were higher than the control(P<0.05). At7th day, the NDF content was lower than the control(P<0.05). ADF contents of the treatment with1.25%milkvetch root+1.25%hawthorn were significantly lower than the control(P<0.05) at3rd day and5th day.(2) In group B, the pH of the treatments with Chinese herbs were significantly lower than the control(P<0.05) at1st day and5th day. At1st day and3rd day, NH3-N/TN ratios were lower than the control (P <0.05). The LA content of treatment with0.75%milkvetch root+1%hawthorn at the1st day was higher than the control(P<0.05), but the NDF content at7th day was lower(P<0.05). At3rd day, LA content of the treatment with1.25%milkvetch root+0.75%hawthorn. ADF content of the1%milkvetch root+1.25%hawthorn were higher than the control (P<0.05), but CP was lower(P<0.05).(3) In group C, the pH of the treatments with1%milkvetch root+0.75%hawthorn were significantly lower than the control(P<0.05) at1st,3rd and5th day, and the NH3-N/TN was lower than the control(P<0.05) at3rd day with the same treatment. At3rd day, the CP content of0.75%milkvetch root+1.25%hawthorn and1.25%milkvetch root+1%hawthorn were significantly higher than the control(P<0.05). |
