Serosurvey Of Contagious Caprine Pleuropneumonia (CCPP) And Isolation And Identification Of Its Pathogen In Shandong Province

In recent years,goat breeding industry has developed greatly.However followed by increasing number and density of goat,the incidence of infectious disease especially co ntagious respiratory disease represented by CCPP has also been increasing. Contagious Caprine Pleuropneumonia (CCPP) also called as mycoplasma pneumonia,which is a h ighly contagious disease of goat caused by a variety of mycoplasma.The main charact e of the disease is fever, cough, seious and fibrinous inflammation of the lungs and p leura.The disease with a high rate of morbidity and mortality has done a lot of harm to the goat industryFirstly, an epidemiological survey was performed in order to identify the vaccine immunity situation of contagious caprine pleuropneumonia in Shandong province. The results show:the immune efficacy of CCPP is effective. The average rate of satisfactor y levels of antibody against CCPP was83.5%, and the positive rate antibody on Laiw u Black goat was93.33%which was higher than other breeds, the positive rate of an tibod on Wendeng dairy goat was86.89%, the positive rate of antibody on Lubo goat was77.78%, the positive rate of antibody on Boer goat was70%which was the lo west in all the four breeds.We get two isolates from8samples.These two isolates were mycoplasma identifi ed by pure culture、morphologic observation and biochemical testing.Specific primers were designed according to the conserved sequence of16s Ribos omal RNA of Mycoplasma on GenBank.The two strains were tested by PCR, Segment s in genes of Mycoplasma mycoides subsp.capri and M. ovip.eumoniae were amplified in the isolate. According to the result of sequencing these two strains originated from Mycoplasma mycoides subsp.capri and M. ovipneumoniae respectively, and the two is olated strains is the same as Mycoplasma in morphology and biochemical testing resul ts.And it was proved that the pathogeny of CCPP are diversity.In this research we did a system assessment about the vaccine immunity situation of CCPP, we also confirms the exists of CCPP in Shandong province where no relev ant reports come out before that, which can provide important technological means for rapid diagnosis, molecular epidemiology and prevention and treatment of contagious pl europneumonia. It has certain academic value and significace of production application s to control of contagious pleuropneumonia in ShanDong.
