The growth stages, agronomic and economic traits of mountain tobacco under different seedling breeding technology, transplanting time, cultivation methods and green manure varieties planting were studied in the present paper, which provides a useful reference for the matching cultivation technology to produce distinguishing quality tobacco in Xiangxi region, Hunan province. The main results are as follows:(1) Compared with the conventional seedling breeding, the strong seedling cultural technology could promote the growth of flue-cured tobacco seedling, shorten the total growth period, increase uniformity and the rate of strong tobacco seedling seedling, enhance the plant height,stem diameter,distance between nodes, leaf number and leaf area per plant,improve the proportion of tobacco leaves with middle and first rank, and increase the yield and efficiency of tobacco planting.(2) Yunyan87was transplanted on May5th (A2) could lengthen growing period in the field, and had the highest yield and output value with158.1kg/mu and3241.05yuan/mu, respectively.The second was treatment A1(transplanted on April25th),but the proportion of tobacco leaves with middle and first rank and average price of it were the highest. However,the yield,output value and the proportion of tobacco leaves with middle and first rank of treatment A3(transplanted on May15th) were the lowest.The brown spot disease occurrence and damage was the highest in treatment A3, followed by treatment A2,while the lowest on April25th. Therefore, the best transplanting time was on May5th.(3) Compared to the conventional cultivation,the agronomic traits of Yunyan87under no tillage cultivation had no significant difference.But the yield, output value, total sugar and reducing sugar with no tillage treatment were lower than those of conventional cultivation, and the aroma and after taste with no tillage treatments were poorer.(4) Different green manure planting can increase the yield and production value of tobacco with different levels. While under the vetch green manure planting, tobacco had the highest yield and output value with208.73kg/mu,4244.74yuan/mu, respectively, and significantly higher than CK. The vetch green manure planting advantageous to improve the yield and efficiency of tobacco planting.
