With the development of intensive, industrialization and large-scale animal husbandry, the characteristics of animal pathogenic disease outbreaks and epidemiology shows the emergence of new changes, and brings to the animal disease prevention and control of new difficulties. The emergence of antibiotic resistance in bacteria is a natural phenomenon, which rather was expanded and accelerated by the abuse of antibiotics in clinics, and people have been paying attention to the effects of antibiotics on the host’s defense system. The active ingredients of Swertia devidi Frauch can protect liver and antioxidant antibacterial antiviral action such as antitumor and anti-inflammatory swelling. A pathway provided a good material to develop new veterinary drug additive and veterinary drug formulation for pig breeding industry. In this paper, the effective components of Swertia devidi Frauch was extracted by alcohol formulation, and was developed into a new kind of safety, high efficiency, low toxicity injection preparation, and these researches were carried out which these tests preliminary stability, bacteriostatic, mouse acute toxicity were conducted and trial of clinical effects was evaluated to weaning diarrhea piglets.1. using the optimized by orthogonal test, in the process of extraction, these parameters of the granularity, solvent concentration, solid-liquid ratio, temperature, time, extraction times were discussed on the active ingredients in swertia sichuan cuisine extraction yield, the better process conditions was optimized for the effect of extraction of Swertia devidi Frauch.2. preliminary extract preparation into injection preparation of Swertia devidi Frauch was finished, and the main quality index of injection preparation was evaluated, and the characteristics of qualities index, stability, the basic non-toxic conform to the requirements of the clinical use of agents; For injection preparation of Swertia devidi Frauch, the MIC of bacteriostatic test for the escherichia coli was0.04mg/ml, the MIC test for staphylococcus aureus was0.40mg/ml. The MIC test for streptococcus pneumoniae is0.80g/ml, and for salmonella typhi MIC is0.08mg/ml, the results show the bacteriostatic effect was obvious.3. The results of treatment for weaned piglets diarrhea using injection preparation of Swertia devidi Frauch show that the cure rate was70%, total effective rate was up to90%, for the low-dose treatment of diarrhea piglets; for the medial-dose group of Diarrhea piglets dose, the treatment group cure rate was80%, total effective rate was up to90%; and the cure rate of High-dose treatment group of diarrhea piglets was90%, total effective rate was up to92%.
