With the improvement of cotton seed-rearing and seeding transplanting technology, the technology of naked cotton seedling transplanting popularize deeply. Although it’s well-established, Manual operation in this section has became a great barrier of Automation about naked seeding transplating. The Automation in taking and feeding seedling mechanism is the key part to achieve the function, it has a vital influence on improving efficiency, reducing working intensity and the right consequences of transplating, that is the reason why the research is of great significance. According to the requirements of naked cotton seedling transplanting mechanism and the mechanical properties about picking of potted cotton seedlings, we design and test a series of mechanism which can achieve the functions of taking and feeding seedling, the main research and conclusions are as follows:)(1) According to the research and experiment about mechanical properties about picking of potted cotton seedlings, we discover that the taking Angle is the major factor which affect the number of broken roots and the force of taking seeding; The Angle of seedling clip ranges form22mm to30mm, the distance between the seedling clip and the top of Seedling tray is0cm~7.36cm; The most suitable way to put seeding is put it Along the vertical direction of the seedling clip.Max Force is equal to3.85N; Average compression yield limit of unit length cotton is7.04N/mm;(2) According to the request of naked cotton seedling transplanting mechanism and the mechanical properties about picking of potted cotton seedlings, trajectory about this mechanism is designed, and basing on the trajectory we made a the Automatic mechanism in taking and feeding seedling which is appropriate for cotton seeding with tow workstations, it can achieve the precise location about taking and feeding seedings,it also can Meet the requirements of vertical taking and horizontal direct feeding;(3) In this paper we finish the maths model about the main motion parts, we used to kinematically and dynamically animate and analyze,we calculate about the locations at any moments, the relationship between acceleration and velocity; we also calculate Transmission Angle of Offset slider-crank mechanism, distance of Turn the slider sliding. Main design parameters;(4) To make sure the the taking points more precise,we do some optimization on offset slider-crank mechanism the transmission Angle and the taking position and taking Angle,which can affect the results of taking seedings:Transmission Angle of Offset slider-crank mechanism can be max when xE2is437.27,xK2is147.64.And the limit value is25.88,when Offset slider-crank mechanism works in this condition, resistance of slider is minimum and the machine operate steadily;When the distance between taking points and sliders is150mm and Radius of support plate is225mm, positional deviation of taking seeding is the minimum and it is more precise; when Projection in a straight line of slide is39.14, the offset of Seedling clip is minimum and the value is0.87,in this conditions, the angle between slide and the z axis is1.41.After doing the optimization, the Maximum offset of Seedling clip is0.87,evidence from the tests show that the offset in the process of taking seedings Was reduced by60.1%.taking action become more precise;(5)Evidence from the preliminary validation test,we Made some improvements about the taking and feeding seedling mechanism which include Opening corner,Stay relaxed length and Gear diameter. Basing on the Institutional improvement,we do some multifactor orthogonal experiments and single factor experiments. We work out the The optimal combination about what affect the the taking and feeding seedling mechanism:it was as follow:Crank rotational speed is40r/min,the taking force is7.14N, the taking Stem displacement of Seedling clip is30mm.Under this condition, this mechanism can be Smooth, efficient and do the taking job precisely.
