In this experiment, the aim of study is to identify the possible effects of KiSS-1/GPR54system on the digestive system and confirm the presence and distribution of KiSS-1and its receptor GPR54in the goats’pancreases that had the highest expression of the two genes and chosen as a starting point. The detection of the different expression of KiSS-1and GPR54mRNAs was carried out through the reverse transcription PCR and real time quantitative PCR, and it had been explored that the expression regular pattern of KiSS-1/GPR54system of goats’pancreas in the different periods and the mechanism of KiSS-1/GPR54system expression and secretion in goats pancreas by the immunohistochemical and reverse transcriptase PCR techniques. The result were showed:1. The positive expression of KiSS-1could have been detected in tongue, rumen, reticulum, omasum, ignaling, liver, pancreas and small intestine. Moreover pancreases have the highest expression, followed by rumen. At the same time, the positive expression of GPR54could have been detected in tongue, reticulum, omasum, ignaling, liver, pancreas and small intestine, but rumen. Meanwhile pancreases have the highest expression, followed by liver.2. The immunohistochemical investigation has indicated the immunolocalization of both KiSS-1and GPR54in the endocrine cells of pancreatic islets. And RT-PCR was carried out to manifest stable expression of KiSS-1and GPR54mRNAs from goat pancreases.3. The positive expression of KiSS-1could not have been detected in the newborn goats’pancreases, but it could have been detected in the puberty goats’pancreases, which prompted temporal gene expression of KiSS-1/GPR54system in the goats’pancreases. It could be demonstrated that that the KiSS-1/GPR54system could have a wide of expression in the goats’digestive system. However, the expression of KiSS-1/GPR54system had not been detected in newborn goats’pancreases, which shows temporal gene expression suggesting that is KiSS-1/GPR54system could coordinate oestrus to ensure smooth operations on puberty.
