The genetic diversity of192individuals of6populations in China was analyzed using10microsatellite marker. The Bactrian camel of6populations included Alashan Camel, Qinghai Camel, Nanjiang Camel, Beijiang Camel, Subei Camel, and Sunite Camel. By calculating the alleles frequency, polymorphism information content (PIC), heterozygosity(H), Nei’s genetic distance to analyze the genetic variability and genetic relationship between Bactrian camel populations. The results were as follows:1.129alleles were tested at the10microsatellite loci,8.9alleles were tested at every locus in average.The least locus were5(CMS36)and the most alleles were13(VOLP67),the numbers of alleles at the other locus were8-12.The genetic diversity of six Bactrian camel populations was plentiful and the genetic variation was relatively great.2. Except the YWLL0836was midrange genetic polymorphic(0.25<PIC<0.5),others were the high polymorphisms (P>0.5).The polymorphism information contents of the Bactrian camel population was between0.4879and0.6962.3. The observed heterozygosity of6Bactrian camel populations was lower than there expected heterozygosity.the observed heterozygosity was between0.3553and0.4478,the expected heterozygosity was between0.6425and0.7029.4. Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium in10loci was tested.The results indicated that only part of the loci were in Hardy-Weinberg.Most of loci were in disequilibrium.5. The FST value(the fixation index of subpopulation relative to the total population)was0.0592which means the94%of the variation was discerned in the populations and6%of the genetic variation existed among the populations.6. Six Bactrian camel group average FIS values are positive, suggests six Bactrian camel populations there are different levels of inbreeding.7. Based on alleles frequency, the results of two genetic distances were completely consistent.Cluster analysis showed that the6Bactrian camel populations were divided into two groups.The Nanjiang Camel and Beijiang Camel jointed as one group.Then the Alashan Camel,Qinghai Camel,Subei Camel,Sunite Camel jointed as another groups.The result showed that Alashan Camel had the closed relationship with Qinghai Camel in the second groups.
