The purpose of this study was to look for germplasm resources of wildvegetables with high yield and high quality, to develop wild germplasm resources, torich people’s basket.In this study, wild vegetables census method was used to collect Atriplexaucheri Mop on Du Mountain of Qinglong at an altitude of1400m; The introductiontest was adopted to introduce Atriplex aucheri Mop at the mountain area into plainarea, and the adaptability, disease resistance, and anti-reversion force of the Atriplexaucheri Mop were identified in this research; A large area test was used to test theyield; Chromosome tabletting method was used to identify the characteristics ofcytology;2,6-two chlorophenol indigo titration was used to detect the content of VC;The carotenoid content was assayed by UV spectrophotometer; The protein contentwas measured by KDY-9810type Kjeldahl instrument; The crude fat content wasdetected by FOSS2050type fat analyzer; The contents of various amino acid wereassayed by L-8500A amino acid analyzer; The microelement contents were detectedby3200type atomic absorption spectrophotometer; The pollen activity wasidentified by TTC.The following conclusions were gained in this research:1. QY-1, Atriplex aucheri Mop at an altitude of1400m on Du mountain ofQinglong, was adaptive to the environment of plain areas and grew well.2. QY-1was immune to floccosoids, downy mildew and fusarium wilt.3. Biological observation tests showed that the period of duration of QY-1was142days from14thMarch to1stAugust in Qinhuangdao. In this period, the effectiveaccumulated temperature more than10℃could reach2291℃and the duration ofday was1980h, which means QY-1belongs to long-day plants.4. The study of cytological observation identified that QY-1was polyploid type(2n=4x), and had strong advantages of chromosome ploidy, giant plant, normalpollen and special chromosome segregation. 5. The yield of QY-1was higher than that of Japanese leaf spinach, increasing106.4%and had good economic benefit.6. QY-1had high quality: The content of VC was higher than that in cucumberand tomato; Carotene content was higher than that in cabbage, cucumber and tomato;The total amount of microelement was a little less than that in large-leaf spinach,while the content of Se, anti-cancer element, increased20.83%compared with thecontrol; The total amount of crude fat, crude portion and amino acids were higherthan that in large-leaf spinach, the increased percentage were0.04%,2.7%and1.18%, respectively.
