The Expression And Significance Of PMP22in Gastric Carcinoma

Objective: To research the PMP22’s expression level in gastric cancer, furtherexplore not only the relationship between PMP22and clinical pathological parametersof gastric cancer,but also the significance in it.Methods: Detection the PMP22expression in79cases of gastric cancer byimmunohistochemical method.Result: Among the79cases of gastric cancer tissues，there is46cases PMP22positive expressing（58.2%）. PMP22in gastric cancer，the expression rate of the lowdifferentiation group (69.8%) is higher than the high/medium differentiation group（33.3%）（P<0.005）.In gastric cancer, PMP22’s expression is related todifferentiation degree, stage, parting and lymph node metastasis（P<0.05）,but hasnothing to do with age, sex（P>0.05）.Conclusion:1.PMP22protein expression in gastric cancer tissue is associatedwith tumor differentiation degree.2.PMP22can serve as a valuable molecular markers for gastric cancer prognosisjudgment.
