Expression Of Multioncogene In Gastric Carcinoma And Their Clinicopatholigical Significance

Objective:To probe the expression of oncogenes bcl-2,c-erbB-2,p53,nm-23H1, MDR-1 in gastric carcinoma and their cliniopathological significance. Methods:Expression of bcl-2,c-erbB-2,p53,nm-23Hi,MDR-1 protein in 10 cases with normal gastric tissue,19 cases with early stage gastric carcinoma,38 cases with advanced gastric carcinoma were examined by immunohistochemical method. Results:In 19 cases with early stage gastric carcinoma,the positive expression rates of bcl-2,c-erbB-2,P53.nm-23H1,MDR-1 were 52.63%(10/19), 52.63%(10/19),52.63%(10/19),68.42%( 13/19),63.16%(12/19) respectively. In 38 cases with advanced gastric carcinoma,the positive expression rates of bcl-2,c-erbB-2,P53,nm-23H,,MDR-1 were 21.05%(8/38), 65.78%(25/38),71.05% (27/38),42.11%( 16/38) and 65.78%(25/38) respectively. There was a significant correlation between the normal gastric tissue and the early stage gastric carcinomas. Also, there was a significant correlation between the normal gastric tissue and the advanced gastric carcinomas except for bcl-2(P<0.05) .The expression of c-erbB-2 and P53 was significantly correlated to differentiation (PO.05). The expression of P53 was positively correlated to depth of invasion and lymph node metastasis (P<0.05). But the nm-23H1 was negatively correlated to depth of invasion and lymph node metastasis (PO.05). Conclusion:It was suggested that the expression of bcl-2,c-erbB-2,P53,nm-23H1 and MDR-1 may played a certain role in the process of gastric carcinoma. There was statisticalrelationship between the expression of c-erbB-2,P53 in gastric carcinoma and differentiation. The expression of P53 was positively correlated to depth of invasion and lymph node metastasis,but the nm-23H] was negatively to depth of invasion and lymph node metastasis.
