Huanglian Lipid-lowering Mixture On Coronary Heart Disease With Phlegm And Blood Stasis Syndrome Clinical Observation Of Carotid Atherosclerotic Plaques In Patients With IMT And CRP

OBJECTIVE:This study investigated by observation of symptoms, Huanglian lipid-lowering mixture on coronary heart disease with phlegm and blood stasis patients with carotid plaques of formation of carotid artery atherosclerotic plaque and plaque score, IMT value CRP, biochemical parameters, and to explore the prevention and treatment of coronary heart disease in patients with phlegm and blood stasis of the mechanism of formation of carotid artery atherosclerotic plaque.METHODS:in201105months to2012October in Department of internal medicine Wuhan No.1Hospital cardiovascular patients with coronary heart disease with phlegm and blood stasis syndrome of carotid atherosclerotic plaques in the inclusion criteria, a total of60cases. Were randomly divided into treatment group (Huanglian lipid-lowering mixture plus routine western medicine) and control group (conventional Western Medicine) with30cases in each,(according to the coronary angiography shows coronary artery disease were divided into single-vessel group and multi-vessel group two subgroups.) The treatment group and the control group were low salt low fat diet, the control group using conventional western medicine treatment, the treatment group in the control group based on the use of Huanglian lipid-lowering agents, two groups were treated for3months. Respectively before and after treatment to observe the following items:angina pectoris, main clinical symptoms, TCM syndrome score, carotid artery plaque and plaque score, IMT value of blood lipid (TC, HDL, LDL, TG), CRP content, then statistical analysis.RESULTS:by statistical analysis, no significant differences in improvement of angina pectoris symptoms of the two groups were compared after treatment. The degree of improvement after treatment in traditional Chinese medicine and to improve the rate of side effects significantly (P<0.05). Two groups of carotid atherosclerotic plaques in IMT after treatment and plaque scores decreased significantly compared with those before treatment, and the treatment group decreased significantly than the control group (P<0.01). In two groups after the treatment, TC, LDL, TG levels decreased significantly compared with those before treatment, and the treatment group than in the control group decreased significantly (P<0.05); the level of HDL in two groups after treatment than before treatment (P<0.01) increased, and the treatment group than in the control group were increased significantly (P<0.05). CRP in the two groups after treatment were significantly lower than that before treatment, and the treatment group than in the control group decreased more significantly, comparison between the two groups had significant difference (P<0.01).CONCLUSION:Huanglian lipid-lowering mixture combined with atorvastatin can significantly reduce coronary heart disease with phlegm and blood stasis syndrome in patients with carotid artery atherosclerotic plaque IMT values and plaque score, reduce the symptom scores; regulate lipid metabolism, reduce blood lipid, inhibiting the inflammatory reaction, can significantly reduce angina attack rate.
