Objective:Tinnitus is one of the most common complaint in clinical. At present, tinnitus etiology is not clear, many studies have shown that tinnitus is closely related to psychological factors, which can be a reason of tinnitus, can also be the result of tinnitus. Tinnitus patients, therefore, often characterized by a series of psychological disorders, including depression, anxiety, irritability, mood swings, and insomnia. A long time mental disorder, in turn, may enhance tinnitus, form a vicious circle. Tinnitus is very popular in the people. Tinnitus-related reactions such as anxiety, depression and sleep deprivation suppress people to enjoy their life. This study applies THI scale (Tinnitus Handicap Inventory) and tinnitus evaluation scale, which is invented by LiuPeng, to evaluate the impact of tinnitus patients life, and provides more basis for personalized treatment of tinnitus, also for application performance of the tinnitus evaluation scale. Methods:There are132tinnitus patients with pure tone audiometry, acoustic impedance, ABR,tinnitus tone and volume testing; Remove the patients with otitis media, drum-type hardening of middle ear disease, with trauma and Menieres disease which ear diseases with significant incentives could lead tinnitus; Remove the patients with systemic disease such as severe mental illness, diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease and so on; Remove the patients with low comprehensive ability who can’t cooperate to fill in the related inventory; Remove retrocochlear patients. Every patient fills in the classification of tinnitus questionnaire and THI scale (tinnitus disability scale), tinnitus evaluation scale. THI scale and tinnitus evaluation scale reflect the effects of tinnitus patients life. Using appropriate statistical methods to analyze the results. Results:There are80patients (a total of60.6%) with the same frequency of hearing loss and the tinnitus frequency; There are17patients (a total of12.9%) with close frequency of hearing loss and the tinnitus. There are38patients without hearing loss, 34patients with mild hearing loss,43patients with moderate hearing loss,13patients with severe hearing loss,and4cases with very severe hearing loss. The study indicates that no correlation between different level of hearing loss and THI classification; Also indicates that no correlation between different level of hearing loss and tinnitus evaluation questionnaire. To compare THI classification, tinnitus evaluation scale with tinnitus subjective loudness grading,we found that the score of THI and tinnitus evaluation scale had increased with tinnitus subjective loudness grading. Conclusion:Tinnitus frequency is closed with the frequency of hearing loss; There is no significant correlation between THI, tinnitus evaluation scale and different level of hearing loss; To compare THI classification, tinnitus evaluation scale with tinnitus subjective loudness grading,we found that the score of THI and tinnitus evaluation scale had increased with tinnitus subjective loudness grading, which means that the higher tinnitus subjective loudness, the greater the effects of tinnitus on patients. In clinical, tinnitus evaluation questionnaire is concise and suitable for clinical work.
