ObjectivesMaintenance hemodialysis is an effective substitute in end-stage renal failure patients, for this experiment by measuring lung function parameters before and after maintenancehemodialysis, the hs-CRP and serum ferritin concentration levels in patients with dialysi,to explor the correlation between hemodialysis, hyersensitivity C-reactive protein;ferritin and pulmonary function in maintenance hemodialysis patientsMethodsInformed consent of the patients,we choose108outpatient and inpatient hemodialysispatients who were dialyzed in Blood Purification Center, First Affiliated Hospital ofAnhui Medical University with more than three months according to the inclusion andexclusion criteria.we collected pulmonary function tests before and after on dialysis,30healthy as a control group, also the patient’s serum hs-CRP, ferritin levels weremeasured, the levels (hs-CRP≥10mg/L group, hs-CRP <10mg/L group; Ferr≥150μg/L, Ferr<150μg/L group) and compared between the two groups of patientswith lung function differences.ResultsParameters of lung function in patients with FVC%(FVC%), one second forcedexpiratory volume%(FEV1), respiratory peak flow%(PEF), maximum mid-expiratoryflow (MMEF25/75%)%predicted carbon monoxide diffusingamount%(DLco%) were lower than the healthy volunteers (P <0.05). The average level of serum inflammatorymarkers were: CRP,13.43±17.05μg/ml (normal:<10μg/ml), ferritin,814.65±905.65μg/L (normal:15-150μg/L). hs-CRP and ferritin above the normal range in patientswith a percentage of40.7%and78.9%, respectively. Serum CRP≥10μg/ml patientscompared with normal CRP patients age, FEV1%and FVC%MMEF25/75%and PEF%lower levels (P=0.005, P=0.001, P=0.005, P=0.015). Serum ferritin≥150μg/Land patient’s age, FEV1%(P=0.035) and FVC%(P=0.019), MMEF25/75%(P=0.005) compared to patients with normal ferritin and PEF%(P=0.021) weresignificantly different, serum hs-CRP, ferritin level and DLco%had no relevance.Pearson correlation analysis showed that hsCRP and FVC%, FEV1%, PEF%MMEF25/75%as well as age, ferritin level was significantly associated (P <0.05).Ferritin and FVC%, FEV%, PEF%PEF25/75%and hs-CRP was significantlyassociated (P <0.05), hs-CRP and ferritin and albumin was no significant correlation(P>0.05), blood dialysis parameters of lung function in patients with FVC, FEV1%,MMEF25/75%, PEF%DLco%were improved.ConclusionMaintenance hemodialysis patients with pulmonary ventilation function, diffusingcapacity and small airway function have different levels of damage, inflammatory statein patients with impaired lung function is closely related to lung function. the majorityof patients can be significant improvement by maintenance hemodialysis.
