Objective:To explore the effective treatment of oral mucosal injury caused by radiotherapy for nasopharyngeal carcinoma.Methods:60patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients were randomly divided into observation group and control group. Dexamethasone and lidocaine mouthwash saline was given to the two groups from the frist two weeks of radiotherapy.30ml of matrine added250ml of5%glucose was given to the observation group intravenously once a day, and three weeks for a course of treatment and two courses were given.Results:The severity and number of radioactive oral mucosa injury of the observation group was lower than the control group.Conclusion:Matrine injection combined with radiotherapy could prevent radioactive oral mucosa damage effectively and improve the quality of life of the patients.
