Comparison Of The Clinical Efficacy Of The Two External Treatment Of Acute Gouty Arthritis

Objective: Through the study of this subject, we try to find Heat dispersion andGout cleaning agent for clinical curative effect and safety on damp and hotaccumulate knot type of acute gouty arthritis.Method: First, we select sixty patients whose diagnosis of Western medicine areacute gouty arthritis and whose diagnosis traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis arewet-hot type and whose diseased parts are the flowing wrist and ankle. Then we usea randomized controlled trial plan to select30cases in treatment group and30casesin the control group. The treatment group was treated by heat powder in the jointarea and the control group were treated by washing affected area using the goutcleaning agent.3days for a course of treatment. To observe clinical symptoms, signs,joint pain, swelling, alleviate the effect evaluation time, swelling disappearedchanges in time and laboratory observation of the treatment before and after for thepatients to evaluate the curative effect.Result:1、 Comparison with the total effective rate of treatment group and thecontrol group,the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05), treatment groupcurative effect is better than the control group.2、 Comparison with TCM syndrome total integral both groups can significantlyimprove the clinical symptoms, there are significant difference statisticallysignificant (P <0.01), improve clinical symptoms in treatment group is better thanthe control group (P <0.05) in improving clinical symptoms.3、 Both groups can significantly improve the damp and hot accumulate knot typesingle symptoms (P <0.01), Treatment group of damp and hot accumulate knot typesingle symptom improvement situation is better than that of control group (P <0.05). 4、The time of Pain, swelling and disappeared of the ioint: treatment group is betterthan that of control group (P <0.05).5、 The results of uric acid, ESR,CRP of two groups of patients before and aftertreatment comparing in the group are no significant difference (P>0.05).6、The blood routine, liver and kidney function of the two groups of patients beforeand after treatment had no abnormal; In the whole course of treatment, two groups ofpatients don’t show obvious adverse reactions such as skin allergy.Conclusion: Heat dispersion and gout cleaning agent treat for joint part, through itsrole in heat dehumidification, swelling and pain, mainly on acute gouty arthritissyndrome is stagnation of damp-heat syndrome, can significantly improve the jointred, swollen, hot pain and other symptoms, the side effect is small, and the heatdispersion effect is better than that of gout cleaning agent. Both are no significantside effects and are safe and effective for external use for treatment of acute goutyarthritis of damp and hot accumulate knot type.
