Objective: To analyse and discuss the curative effect of different surgical treatmentsagainst hepatic alveolar echinococcosis (HAE). Methods: A retrospective analysis wasconducted of139hepatic alveolar echinococciasis patients, according to differenttreatment methods and PTCD method, the139cases were divided into three groups:namely the radical surgery group (group A) were66cases(including3patients withautologous transplantation), the palliative surgery group (group B) were56cases(traditional slices drainage surgery16patients,40patients with subtotal excision),the PTCD group (group C) were18cases. Followed up for1-115month. To analysis ofchanges in12years the hospital treatment, and survival situation of patients. Results:(1)In radical surgery group,1case dead in perioperative,1case had a operation becausebiliary stricture,3cases were recurrence;(2) Among the40subradical total resection casesof palliative surgery group,4case dead postoperative,2case had a operation becausebiliary stricture,7cases were recurrence; Among the16Traditional slices drainage surgerycases of palliative surgery group,4case dead postoperative;(3) Radical surgeryproportion is increasing, operation cure rate>50%, traditional slices drainage surgeryabandened gradually;(4) In the radical surgery group,1years,3years,5years survivalrate of HAE patients were98%,98%,98%.1years,3years,5years survival rates ofsubradical total resection surgery of patients were95%,74%,57%. In the radical surgerygroup,1years,3years,5year survival rates of free-disease progression were94%,87%,76%.1years,3years,5year survival rates of free-disease progression in the subradicaltotal resection surgery group were79%,66%,55%. Conclusion: The radical surgery ofhepatic alveolar echinococcosis is better than other surgical treatment. Autologoustransplantation for end-stage hepatic alveolar echinococcosis patients is optional treatment way.
