Objective: To investigate the expression of transforming acidiccoiled-coil proteins3(TACC3) in breast cancer and its clinical significance.Explore the role of TACC3in the incidence of breast cancer development. Methods: Expression of TACC3mRNA and protein were detected byreverse transcription PCR (RT-PCR), Western blot andimmunohistochemical staining in85tissue samples of breast cancer andbreast para-carcinoma tissue collected by the First Affiliated Hospital ofChongqing University Medical. Results: TACC3mRNA and protein expression in breast cancer tissueswas significantly higher than that in breast para-carcinoma tissue(sP<0.05),there were the significance relevance between stage of the tumor, sizes of thetumor, the metastasis of the lymph nodes, P53in the expression of TACC3.But there were no any relevancies between the ages, the expressions of ER+,PR+and Her-2in the expression of TACC3.Conclusion: TACC3mRNA and protein expression in breast cancer tissues was significantly higher than that in breast para-carcinoma tissues(P<0.05), The expression of TACC3mRNA and protein in breast tumorstages associated,It is presumed that TACC3may be have significance inthe clinical prognosis in breast cancer and TACC3may be play a certain rolein progression of breast cancer.
