Clinical Analysis Of65Patiens With Vitiligo Treated By308nm Excimer Laser

Objective:To observe the efficacy and safety of308nm excimer laserfor vitiligo.Methods:65cases of patients with different clinical patterns anddifferent illness time were treated by308nm excimer laser twice a week. Theeffect and adverse reactions were assessed at the same time.Results:Total effective rate was86.15%and total significant rate was43.08%after19times of treatments on average.The effect was significantlydifferent in different clinical patterns of vitiligo.Patients withlocalized,sporadic and segmental vitiligo got a better improvement thanpatients with other types of vitiligo.There was no significant difference inprogressive or stable stage.Adverse reactions included redness,pain,pruritus,desquamating and blisters in some people,which could usually be tolerated.Conclusion:Local irradiation has a good effect and fewer adversereactions by308nm excimer laser for vitiligo,which is associated withclinical patterns and maybe have no relationships with staging.
