Objective:Detect the serum estradiol (E2),25-hydroxyvitamin D [25(OH) D], parathyroid hormone (PTH), calcitonin (CT) and bonedensity(BMD) of some patients with osteoporosis and normal human,and to studythe relationship between osteoporosis-related hormones and bone mineraldensity further in Chongqing area.Methods: Use chemiluminescence method to detect the osteoporosishormone levels of55cases of osteoporosis patients and23case of healthycontrols with E2, CT, PTH,25(OH) D kit; select Norland XR-46dualenergy X-ray absorptiometry to measure the two groups’s bone mineraldensity (BMD) of the2-4lumbar spine and the femoral neck (Neck),Ward’s triangle (Ward’s triangle) and greater (g/cm2).Results:⑴The L2-4BMD has significant correlation with serum PTH,CT levels (P <0.05);(2)The Neck area BMD has significant correlation with serum PTH, E2levels (P <0.05);(3)The Ward’s Triangle area BMD has significant correlation with serum CT level (P <0.01);(4)The trochanter BMD has significant correlation with serum CT,25(OH) D levels (P <0.05);⑸Further multiple linear regression analysis concluded that the L2-4bone mineral density:has positive correlation with serum25(OH) D levels,the Pearson correlation coefficient is0.695, P=0.000; has negativecorrelation with serum PTH levels, Pearson correlation coefficient is-0.619,P=0.000; being positively related with the level of serum CT, Pearson’scorrelation coefficient is0.700, P=0.000; being positively related with theserum E2levels were, Pearson correlation coefficient is0.742, P=0.000;Similarly,the Neck District/Ward’s Triangle District/trochanter Districtbone mineral density were positively correlated with serum25(OH) D, CT,E2levels with Pearson correlation coefficients of0.630,0.601,0.700/0.727,0.680,0.782/0.549,0.589,0.539, P=0.000, and has a negativecorrelation with serum PTH, Pearson correlation coefficients were-0.578/-0.477/-0.457, P0.000.Conclusion:Through using chemiluminescence detection with the E2,CT, PTH,25(OH) D kit, the Chongqing to some patients with osteoporosisand normal human serum estradiol (E2),25-hydroxyvitamin D [25(OH) D],parathyroid hormone (PTH), calcitonin (CT) level, and using of theNorland XR-46dual energy X-ray absorptiometry of United States tomeasure bone mineral density (BMD) of the2-4lumbar spine and femoral neck (Neck)Ward’s triangle (Ward’s triangle) and greater trochanter(trochanter)(g/cm2) and conclude:⑴L2-4bone mineral density: was positively correlated with serum25(OH) D level,and the Pearson correlation coefficient was0.695, P=0.000;was negatively correlated with serum PTH level, Pearson correlationcoefficient was-0.619, P=0.000; was positively correlated with serum CTlevel,and the Pearson correlation coefficient was0.700, P=0.000; waspositively correlated with serum E2level, Pearson correlation coefficientwas0.742, P=0.000.(2) Neck District/Ward’s Triangle District/trochanter area bonemineral density was positively correlated with serum25(OH) D, CT, E2levels,Pearson correlation coefficients were0.630,0.601,0.700/0.727,0.680,0.782/0.549,0.589,0.539, P=0.000, was negatively correlatedwith the level of serum PTH,and the Pearson correlation coefficient were-0.578/-0.477/-0.457, P0.000. Accordingly, serum E2, CT, PTH,25(OH)VD can be used as better indicators of osteoporosis and be used to earlydetect of osteoporosis.
