[Objective]:Understand the therapeutic action of the calcitonin to the osteoporotic post-menopause.[Methods]:Select sixty of the aging of sisty to eighty post-menopause female,most of them fit below standard:(1)the age>fifty-five; (2)nature menopause>three years;(3)have the weight-bearing or(and) idipathic whole body or breast,lumbago;or little damage to result bone fracture case history;(4)BMD be lower than the same age group one standard error or two standard error of the young people peaked. All 60 female patients were randomly allocated into two groups according the time them enter the trial. Control Group:(vitamin D and calcium).Test Group:(Salmon Calcitonin calcium and vitamin D)。The two groups have not significant difference in the sex,age,clinical situation and so on,possess comparability. All patients were treated with the same diet guide, the metrology of drug use:Salcatonin Nasal Spray (50IU/d); calcium carbonate (600 mg/day) and vitamin D(125 IU/d),the study consists 24 weeks. Observe the therapeutic effect at 0 week,12th week,and 24th week; Using Challenger "99" the double X-light energy measurement of bone mineral density penetron to measure the BMD of lumber spine (L2-4),femur neck,Wards triangle,greater trochanter and forearm. BMD unit(g/cm2), Proceed at 0 and the 24th week. Apply radio-immunity to survey and evaluate hem- BGP on an empty stomach at 0,12th and 24th week mensuration;to survey and evaluate AKP using ELISA.[Results]:After 24-weeks treatment,compared with prior treatment,the serum calcium of the therapy group obviously increased, the lumber spine(L2-4) BMP increased(P<0.05).but AKP of the therapy group obviously decreased,have significant difference (P<0.05).Compared with the prior treatment, the serum calcium of the control group not obviously changed, the BMP was alert not significantly in every region. Compared with the control group, the serum calcium and BMD of the therapy group obviously increased,have significant difference(P<0.05). but AKP of the therapy group obviously decreased,have significant difference (P<0.05).[Conclusion]:Treatment of Salmon calcitonin and calcium as well as vitamin D on the osteoporitic barton fractures among the postmenopausal women can decrease bone resorption and increase bonemass and the therapy osteoporosis utility.
