Objective:Through with the study about the relationship between the expression of N-cadherin,E-cadherin and various clinicopathological factors in non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC),this study was designed to investigate the function and the significance of the combineddetection of N-cadherin, E-cadherin in the invasion and the metastasis of non-small celllung cancer. Methods:We collected80cases of non-small cell lung cancer and40cases of paracancerousnormal lung tissues which was selected and organized from80cases of non-small cell lungcancer adjacent, which was from January2011to July2012in Liaocheng People’sHospital. None of the chemotherapy, radiotherapy and other anti-tumor therapy werecarried out before the surgery. Using the method of the streptavidin-biotin peroxidaseconnection (S-P), this study to detect and analysis the expression of N-cadherin,E-cadherin and various clinicopathological factors in non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Results:1. Compared with the paracancerous normal lung tissues tissues, the expression ofN-cadherin in non-small cell lung cancer increased, though the expression of E-cadherinreduced(P<0.05).2. The high expression of N-cadherin in non-small cell lung cancer was relevant totumor differentiation, lymph node metastasis or not, and clinical stage(P<0.05);the loseexpression of E-cadheri was also relevant to tumor differentiation, lymph node has nometastasis and clinical stage(P<0.05); Both of the expressions of N-cadherin andE-cadherin were irrelevant to gender, age and pathological types(p>0.05).3.The correlation of the expression of N-cadherin and E-cadherin in non-small celllung cancer was significant negative (r=-0.253, p<0.05). Conclusion:1. Compared with the paracancerous normal lung tissues, the expressions ofN-cadherin and E-cadherin in non-small cell lung cancer tissues were abnormal, indicatingthat they may participate in the occurrence of non-small cell lung cancer.2.The relationship between the expression of N-cadherin, E-cadherin and variousclinicopathological factors indicated that the change of the expression of N-cadherin andE-cadherin significantly correlated with low differentiation, lymph node metastasis andlate clinical stage. So we can conclude that the high expression of N-cadherin and the lowexpression of E-cadherin may play an important role in in the invasion and the metastasisof non-small cell lung cancer.3. The expression of N-cadherin and E-cadherin negatively correlated to, indicatingthe E-cadherin to N-cadherin conversion may occur in non-small cell lung cancer.4.The combined detection of N-cadherin and E-cadherin can be used as an importantindicator for evaluating malignant biological behavior and survival in non-small cell lungcancer, which can provide reliable theory support for the clinical diagnosis and treatment.
