Objective:(1) To assessing the level of TGF-β1and IL-lβ in diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs) exudate.(2) To compare the differences between the level of TGF-β1and IL-1β in the same period of DFU exudate of the control group with traditional dressing and the experimental group with moist dressing.(3) To compare the differences between the wound healing rate and wound color changes of the two groups’DFUs.Methods:A randomized controlled trial was used in this study. There were30diabetic patients with DFU were randomly divided into two groups, all the diabetic patients were followed up the diabetic treatment regimens by the physicians, but15diabetic patients of the experimental group were used moist dressing and15diabetic patients of the control group were used traditional dressing for4weeks. The level s of TGF-β1and IL-1β in the wound exudate of all the patients before the intervention, on the4th day,7th day,14th day,21st day and28th day were be assessed by double antibody sandwich ELISA, respectively. Meanwhile the dynamic changes of the color and the area of the DFU were assessed and analyzed. Results: (1) The average level of TGF-β1was141±13.40ng/ml, the maxima value was70.01ng/ml and the minimum value was17.41ng/ml; and the average level of IL-1(3was144.84±14.90ng/ml, the maxima values was72.77ng/ml and the minimum value was18.64ng/ml in the DFU exudate before the intervention.(2) Repeated measures ANOVA results showed that there was an interventional main effect existed among the area of the DFU, the quantity of TGF-β1and IL-1β in the DFU exudate (p<0.05), and also there was an interaction among the3factors of time and interventional factors (p<0.05).(3) Two independent samples t-test results indicated that there was a statistically significant (p<0.05) difference between the rate of DFU healing and the time of red wound occur in the two groups after4weeks intervention.Conclusion:(1) The level of TGF-β1and IL-1β in the DFU exudate is individual different and affected by many factors.(2) Moist dressings are able to improve the level of TGF-β1in the DFU and maintain the level of IL-1β within the appropriate range of promoting wound healing.(3) Moist dressings are able to accelerate the red wound occur and increase the rate of DFU healing than traditional dressings.16figures,12 tables,59references...
